This firm were recommended by a friend so we obtained a quote along with 2 other firms. I was highly impressed with Steve at initial contact and we agreed a price that I was happy with.
The 2 packers, Jeff and Chris, came the day before and were brilliant in packing up as much as they could ready for the move the next day.
Move day went super smoothly, helped by an early completion, allowing the now 4 man crew to ferry our belongings into our new home with care.
All along the way, the staff have been friendly and the communication first class from start to finish.
I would highly recommend this firm if you are moving home.

I highly recommend Excess Removals their service was exceptional from the first phone call also the care and thoughtfulness from Shenda and Steve was amazing.
We were put in a very difficult situation with our removal date but Shendas and Steve professionalism and problem solving sprang into action and nothing was a problem even when they found out their lorry was not allowed down our new addresses road but this was not a problem Shenda arranged for smaller vans. We cannot thank Shenda for all her help as the move was very emotional and extremely stressful but Shenda took all this away and their team who did the move were an exceptional team so friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem a credit to Excess Removals . I would recommend this company to anyone moving house. They were kind, efficient, always helpful, very prompt and made the whole experience much easier than it could have been.

What more can I say about this company they are nothing less than pure professionals in the way they deal with their customers through Customer Service, and through their employees in the delivery of their package and service to the consumer. we were, and our buyers were put into an impossible situation by the  actions of a despicable and dishonourable buyer.  This led to a situation that meant that we exchanged and completed in three days. And In Excess were able to respond with total professionalism. I have nothing but admiration for this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We used this company to move us at the beginning of July, and i cannot rate them highly enough they were absolutely brilliant, the lads came and where so helpful, careful and couldn't do enough for you, packed us up and unloaded and put the furniture exactly where i wanted them to, even though i changed my mind a few times. I would highly recommend this company

GREAT REMOVALS.
Can not say a bad thing about this company, for the very start to the finish. We had a quote, They were not the cheapest, but we no were near the most expensive. We choose in-Excess as they seamed the most confident and professional from the start, Cheaper Quotes never gave us the confidence of getting it right. The guys on the days were great, just got on with it, Then next day offloaded and again just got on with it. We didn't get anything, like we cant do this, wont do that. that will cost more. the quote was what it was. this was a move over 300 miles. We packed ourselves and just finished unpacking. Not one thing has damage or been broken. By far this was the most stress free part of our move. WELL DONE IN-EXCESS.

I had never used removal company’s before ,but from initial survey to completion of removal the whole experience was spot on ,this company made what could of been a stressful time really easy ,the team were great with a really pleasant attitude and price was reasonable, well deserved 5 stars
