Possibly the worst bank for premium…

Possibly the worst bank for premium accounts. If you have International dealings do not choose this Bank.
If you like orderly conduct do not choose this Bank.
They proudly acknowledge that they have no formal processes or the knowledge thereof in the team.

Most reviews on Google is about their premium space. I prefer a bank that works.

After a year with them I am happy that I've taken a decision to move to another bank

Submission of KYC documents is…

Submission of KYC documents is extremely disappointing process. Their e mails keep asking for the same documents again and again.

They are insisting on OCI/PIO documents. I have repeatedly written and spoken to them that I never had and never needed these documents.
I provided ALL other documents and proven that I am an American citizen and living in USA for more than 50 years.
Worst thing is that I go through this process with them almost every year. Spending few months every year communicating with them about the same thing is annoying. To close the account and forget about this bank is very complicated process.

Based on my experience

Based on my experience, this bank has turned out to be one of the most disappointing financial institutions I have dealt with. The non-compliance issues and the charges applied were never communicated clearly, and even after repeated follow-ups, the bank failed to provide transparent or timely explanations.

There is a clear lack of customer-oriented thinking. Instead of resolving issues, the bank’s approach has been bureaucratic, unhelpful, and unnecessarily complicated at every step. Even a simple request like account closure was made excessively difficult without any genuine justification from their side.

Overall, for any business expecting timely service, transparency, and professional conduct, my experience strongly suggests that this bank falls far short. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable banking partner. Apply Very high illigal non compliance charges at the te of exit.

Worst worst company going do not trust…

Worst worst company going do not trust these as far as you can throw them !!!! Lists and theives they support scammers I lost hundreds of pounds on scam website India mart their manager called mukund is a liar and their he doesn't help I think he keeps the money for him self !!!! Avoid at all costs India is the worst country on the planet !!!!

fraudulent activities and worst customer service

I had taken a credit card based loan from IndusInd bank on December,2024. Due to the high EMI and interest rates, I decided to foreclose it. When seeking foreclosure action via company email, their customer care took 2-3 weeks to respond. In some cases, they never even replied. And they kept my interest running for months while they never responded promptly or took foreclosure action.

Similarly , their toll-free customer number always kept rotating in the IVR menu and I could never access a company agent on the helpline. Sometimes, they kept me waiting on the queue for 30 minutes and still, the company agents never answered the phone. Such incompetent and pathetic customer service from IndusInd bank.

Their emails are typed in such tiny font sizes , that its obvious their customers are not businessmen or 40+ middle-aged citizens. Moreover, Indusind bank is recently facing scrutiny in 2025 for alleged securities market violations. It has come under fire for accounting irregularities in derivatives trades , microfinance portfolios and balance sheet disclosures. Indusind bank is fraudulent and encourages corruption within its hierarchy. They have the worst customer service among its peer banks.

Very bad experience with this bank, never go for this bank

Very bad experience with this bank, no response from customer care, no answer from my service manager as I have NRI account, my account was frozen for 2 months, I am so frustrated even after sharing all the required documents still frozen to debit. I am in UK and and it’s very hard to manager my premiums, EMI if it’s bounced

IndusInd: The most unsecured bank

If you want to avoid any bank to deal wityh IndusInd is the one. Never open the NRI/NRO account with then. I have been with them only for 3 months and have found dozen of I.T Issues with their app and website.Not even sure if our money is safe.

I escalated these issues at highest levels at IndusInd where Senior management and MD promised to get back to me with answer within 7 working days and now after 15 working days they have neither got back to me nor responding to my followups.

Deal with IndusInd at your own risk.One of the pathetic banks who cuts corners on I.T spend to increase profits. I have now complained about IndusInd to RBI too.

Worst bank ever

Worst bank ever. Despite numerous attempts to close an unwanted account, I continue to receive relentless calls and emails from your representatives.

In 2018/2019, I attempted to open an account to deposit funds from a property sale in India. However, the account opened was incorrectly configured to only accept AUD, rendering it useless for my purposes. I made alternative arrangements and have since tried to close this account.

Over the past five years, I have:

1. Received thousands of calls and emails.
2. Spoken to multiple relationship managers, explicitly requesting account closure.
3. Completed a closure form as requested.
4. Informed representatives that I destroyed the cheque books and debit card, as I would never use the account.

Despite these efforts, the bank continues to harass me. Every time a new relationship manager is assigned, the cycle restarts. It's appalling that your bank persists in contacting me, considering:

1. Incomplete KYC documents.
2. Failure to maintain the minimum account balance.

I strongly advise others to avoid IndusInd due to their incompetent and harassing practices.

Extremely Disappointed with IndusInd Bank

My experience with IndusInd Bank has been a disaster from day one. I recently opened a savings account and faced numerous issues that made banking a nightmare.

1. Inability to Update Address: Despite completing KYC through Paytm, I couldn't update my communication address. This is a basic feature, yet it's unavailable.

2. Terrible Customer Service: It’s impossible to get through to a human representative. The IVR system is a frustrating loop with no real help.

3. Slow and Unresponsive App: The app is painfully slow, even on a 5G network, and crashes often. It’s inefficient and time-consuming.

4. Confusing App Interface: The app is filled with unnecessary notifications and has a confusing interface that makes simple tasks complicated.

5. Net Banking Issues: Logging into net banking is a nightmare. It takes over 30 minutes to process a login request, making it unusable.

I intended to use this account for managing my savings and investments, but these issues have made it impossible. I am closing my account and advise others to avoid IndusInd Bank if they value their time and money. The service is unreliable, and I regret choosing this bank. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your banking needs. 1/5 stars.
