Our experience with Manuela from iPlaza…

Our experience with Manuela from iPlaza has been very disappointing. We paid a deposit of €10,000, but the service we received was not aligned with what was promised. Despite our attempts to resolve the situation and request a refund, we have not received a satisfactory solution or our money back.

We are sharing our experience to advise future clients to be very cautious and ensure that all commitments are clearly documented before making any payments.

We want to warn others about our very…

We want to warn others about our very serious and distressing experience with iPlaza and their agent Manuela.

We paid €10,000 to buy the credit (mortgage) on an apartment that actually belongs to a bank. We understood that after completing the necessary legal procedures, we would obtain ownership. However, during the visit, we discovered the apartment was illegally occupied by a family with children. A woman living there aggressively shouted at us, putting us in a dangerous and tense situation.

It became clear that Manuela was fully aware the apartment was occupied but never informed us. Despite the risks, she pressured us to proceed with the purchase. When we expressed concerns, she became rude, shouted, and acted unprofessionally. She also made discriminatory and offensive remarks towards us as Arab clients, which was deeply hurtful.

We tried to resolve the issue peacefully, but she refused to return our €10,000 despite misleading us and putting us at risk. As a result, we have filed a legal claim through our lawyer.

We share this to protect others. Please be extremely cautious when dealing with iPlaza or Manuela.

Our experience of Inmobiliaria-Plaza…

Our experience of Inmobiliaria-Plaza has been extremely negative.
They make no attempt to abide by the conditions of the contract they gave us when they rented out our apartment in Puerto de la Cruz. As soon as we left the country they made unnecessary and unwarranted alterations to our home without our knowledge....then billed us for the work. When we refused to pay they broke the terms of the contract again by instructing the tenant to give them the rent money, instead of paying us direct as specified in the contract. They then just took the money UNDER PROTEST. They also tried to procure 460 euros from us, saying our mattress is worn out. The mattress is new so we were very alarmed, to the point that my husband flew over to Tenerife at great expense to find out what was happening. They were rude to him and told him not to bother sending any more 'war & peace' emails as they were not interested and would do as they wish. They are confident they can do as they wish as they told us, if we sue them, it will cost us more than paying the bill. They are that arrogant. It is only one month into the contract so we are fearful of what they will do next. We have lodged a complaint against them by completing the Hoja de Reclamaciones. In our experience they are not to be trusted.
