Great value and Service!

Ordered myself a new Office PC as I wanted something small and quiet, these guys have quite a few different ones to choose from and their pricing is pretty good compared to other similar sites.

My order arrived quicker than expected in a well packaged amd protected box. Very happy with my new little system, I've never seen a spreadsheet open so fast!

Would definitely recommend.

5 Star Service

Chris and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
They worked with me to select the best suited components for my needs whilst also creating the smallest form factor PC with the GPU I wanted.

The PC runs quiet and cool and their prices are competitive.

I would highly recommend using them and will be back when it’s time for an upgrade.

Exactly what I wanted for my music recording.

Delivered ahead of schedule.
Plugged everything in and pressed go. All worked. Bought for music recording so needed to be quiet.
It's quieter than a door mouse with slippers on. Brilliant. Nice and small. James helped me to set up a second drive. Very friendly and helpful as can be. Lifetime support as well. Perfect.

Some underpowered machines

Selling mITX machines with 12 cores, 64gb RAM and SSD with 150W PSU, then saying system failure and OS corruption within hours of use is random and not a hardware problem.

No mention of power rating on site, power draw untested, and no PSU upgrades available.

Hi luke, sorry to see this, after our conversations it is a bit confusing.

What anyone should take away from this review is that if they ever have a problem with their system, whatever that issue might be, we will always recommend a quick resolve for you and if you do not want to / it does not resolve your issue we will always take your unit in without quibble and refund you, hopefully this might in turn reassure you as this is ultimately what happened with Luke.

Series of events:

You yourself attested there was no issue related to our building it and for that exact reason you said it was not our fault but just dumb luck as an issue occurred when you installed something. In fact without our prompting you said it would not be a negative review for us. (Hence the confusion in finding this review)

We agreed to take the unit back in for a refund without question after suggesting you might be able to reinstall windows and the issue would go away but you did not want to which is fine! We received the unit and confirmed the issue to be a corrupted file system, we performed a clean install of windows and the pc was then fine.

We are sorry this seems to have raised your suspicion but that is exactly the nature of the issue, we genuinely resolved it within about 2 minutes.

That said we still accepted the return without question and refunded you so there would be no reason to find this suspicious, we didn't use it as an excuse not to refund you for example, we simply explained what it was after when you asked.

It is also odd as we explicitly said we perform a 24 hour burn in test when you mentioned you felt it could have been the PSU so why are you saying power draw goes untested in your review? This is a low power fanless system - the PSU is adequate, it is a power brick much as you would see with a laptop.

We do not offer alternative power supplies in this particular product as they are not compatible with the chassis. However in our other fanless units we do offer up to 600w fully fanless PSU or up to 1000w Semi Passive PSU, not that the chosen PSU negatively impacts this unit but if you had communicated your preferences prior to purchase we could have advised on an alternative unit that housed a beefier PSU for you.

Upgrades are available, depending of course on the specifications you select as the units are configurable on our website you can see all the options available.

(EDIT: This will read oddly as the customer consequently updated the review to remove the error and made it more about the PSU after our reply as you can tell due to it now mentioning the psu 4 times) I wouldnt normally correct you but as its pertinent to upgradability which you noted as a negative - your system was an ITX not MATX, you had already selected 64GB RAM, that is the most an ITX can take. We do offer MATX systems should you have felt that more RAM would have been required at some stage and indeed far more powerful fanless systems, I just wish you mentioned that is what you were seeking.

Have three of Inside Tech computers

Have three of Inside Tech computers. They take several weeks to come, but they are built to your spec. I have a handheld size one for attaching to a telescope for control, and two fanless computers. All are excellent and do exactly what they say on the tin. The silent PC's are brilliant, although I have not tried the highest speed version, but the i7's are plenty fast for general use, and photo production. Get a quiet life and buy a fanless PC!

All round excellent service and product!

Excellent pre-sales service giving some advice about ordering and delivery. I've now received my mini PC and extremely pleased with the customer service, price, build speed and quality. Windows 11 started up immediately and there was no "bloatware" to be removed so up and running in no time. Thanks to the team for a great job!

Good trusty reliable service

I needed a last minute PC delivered fast, they were kind enough to get me a priority build done without any extra cost. Apart from that I had a slight issue due to me travelling with the PC and the customer service helped me till we found and fixed the issue.

Highly recommend!

Very impressed with the post sales even after 2 years of purchase

Very impressed with the post sales customer service even after 2 years of purchase. I purchased a PC two years ago. Haven't really used it during these time and when I went to use it the Windows programme dissapeared and had to reinstall it. I contacted the team via their chat (with not much hope that they will do anything as it was so long ago I purchased the PC), also it was on a Sunday and they helped me into reinstalling Windows again. Took a good couple of hours and the guy was so helpful and friendly. I am beyond happy with this company and deserves a 5 star. Thank you!

mixed experience

i ordered a pc 3rd december. it duly arrived but ran extremely hot and kept cutting out. i could not get it to boot properly at all. so...returned. it was finally returned back to me after an extended period (xmas break). i was told there was no issue with cutting out, but that it nonetheless had been fitted with the wrong motherboard and so they had replaced that. go figure! but this time, it emitted an odd noise the like of which i haven't heard since the early modems we used to have 20-25 years ago. (this is supposed to be fanless and silent!) so...returned. again.

EDIT: the people at inside-tech have been in touch and have instituted a full refund + compensation, so fair play to them. obviously the company has a good reputation and supplies pcs to many happy customers, it's just a shame that in my case the pc didn't work out. in cases when i have been in contact with them, they have been responsive and helpful, so i would not discourage others from using them.

Very sorry to hear this, I do apologise the product did not work out for you, we honestly did not have any issues with the unit upon receipt of the return but we give a no questions asked 30 days return policy, our only real goal is to make sure you are happy.

Ultimately the only important aspect is that it did not work out for you at your location which is why we sent an additional £60 compensation in your refund as an apology for your experience.

Our main focus is to please our customers and make sure that people are as happy with our products as we are, as we were unable to please you, the least we can do is compensate you for your time.

Exceptional customer service

I'm not surprised to see so many other reviews with comments rating the customer service at Inside-Tech as excellent. This has been my own experience, and then some. :)

Being able to purchase an item I couldn't find anywhere else, then spotting others I had already paid more for elsewhere and rebuying those too, I was already impressed with the service - especially when payment and delivery all went through smoothly.

They excelled themselves when I called up to ask about returning a few items. These were fine but couldn't be used due to issues with parts bought elsewhere. The phone was answered quickly, the service was friendly, and nothing was a problem.

However, this was all topped by the follow-up e-mail I received, which included a lot of really useful information about compatibility issues with the parts I had purchased elsewhere. This would have been impressive anyway but was particularly so in the context of them "losing a sale".

Inside-Tech are now one of only a few retailers to have a permanent link on my Firefox browser's Bookmarks Toolbar!

Cannot recommend highly enough. :)

excellent customer service

I chose Inside-Tech for my new gaming PC partly because of their response to one bad review here. They've been most helpful & patient, considering I knew what I wanted it to do but am easily baffled by, eg comparing graphics cards. All in all an excellent experience, & at competitive prices too.

Excellent advice, quick responses and great prices!

I last used Inside-Tech a few years back for a mini PC and it was now time to upgrade a few components on my main PC (motherboard, RAM, CPU and cooler). I didn't need a pre-built PC but as I'd used them before, I sent Chris and James an email with what I was looking for and my budget.

They were really helpful in pricing the items I needed up for me and advised me on what both to do and what not to do. I'm tech-savvy enough to build a PC by msyself but hadn't done so for a number of years, so was thankful for the support. James even gave me some advice over the phone when I had a small issue after the build (my own doing) and I was able to rectify it within a few minutes after speaking to him.

The computer is running brilliantly (Core i7 111700k, Noctua cooler, B560 Steel Legend motherboard and some Corsair Vengeance RAM).

As many others have said on here, I'd highly recommend them to anyone either needing a mini PC, a new build or just some components. Faultless service - thanks, guys! Chris in particular was very patient with my multiple emails when I was trying to decide the final few bits.
