Full Reimbursement

I traveled to Europe from the United States for ~ 3 Weeks from Late August to Early September in 2015. I purchased the Global Gold plan at $87. I bought this plan since this was my first trip to Europe and it was a small percentage versus the overall cost of the trip. Nearing the end of my holiday, my return flight was cancelled due to a pilot strike which forced me to rebook my flight. The flight cost ~$2500$. Since this was a flight which had a layover in another country overnight I also had to get a hotel. The cost of the hotel was ~$200. I email InsureandGo once I returned home and filed a claim. The process was straightforward and executed through email. It took ~6 weeks to receive a check. I received a full reimbursement. Rebooking of the flight and hotel would have doubled the cost of my trip, getting travel insurance is definitely worth the $87. The math, 87/2700 is only 3%, I do not see a justifiable reason not to get travel insurance. I am very satisfied with InsureandGo and I look forward to my next holiday.

What a poor use of technology in the 21st century. Lack of response is awful!

For Pete's sake - this is NOT 1980 - I shouldn't have to write out every single lost item in my luggage by hand instead of simply uploading an excel spreadsheet with all the required info. And a receipt for every single thing lost in my luggage? Every pair of underwear, comb, brush and bar of soap? So the airlines will only cover a small portion and they require original receipts. And then the "great insurance" only covers a small portion but they want the same original receipts. Obviously I am going to get the short end of the stick. Also there is a long list of things that are covered in the policy, but when you try to file a claim, there is no form on the website for all the things they supposedly cover. Where's the missed cruise connection claim form? Where's the travel delay form? How about the claim for missed pre-paid shore excursions? I was told that if we email with questions we would get a response in 48 hours. NOT! And really, am I the only unhappy customer? All the reviews are so positive. Find that just a little hard to believe.

Online Purchase of Travel Insurance

The online purchase experience was very easy. I had a follow-up question to my online purchase and spoke with Bre, Customer Service Supervisor. She answered my question in detail and was very helpful, courteous, and professional.

Great Customer Service!

We never had Travel Insurance, however on our last World Cruise 7 to 10 travelers past away and several were taken off the ship to go to a hospital!
That start you thinking: are we able to pay for it all in case this happens to us??? No, so next time take out Travel Insurance. I did some research and found InsureandGo having the lowest premium with the best Policy and very good reviews.
I talked to Joss today. She is very professional and answered all my questions. Ready to go on our next Cruise with their Platinum Insurance Coverage. Thanks.

Finding the right policy

I have never purchased travel insurance before but, due to medical issues, my wife and I wanted to insure ourselves against an assortment of potential trip changing consequences. Our Paris apartment agent recommended that we contact Warren Peterson. Warren gave us an assortment of choices. InsureandGO was the one for us. Extensive coverage, decent price and simple access to information. I hope that all goes well but I am confident that, should it not, that we have the ideal coverage.
