This experience was amazing and if I could I would love to do it all over again. Morrocco is a beautiful country which has some great people, and places to visit. Moreover, Intern abroad made sure we got all the facilities we needed and made sure we were looked after.

For a very long time, I had been searching for the right work abroad experience and finally came across this program. Intern HQ Abroad fulfilled all of my expectations during my ten week long Human Rights & NGO Support internship in Rabat, Morocco.
From the very beginning, everything was spectacular. The airport pickup was smooth, the daily breakfasts and dinners were delicious (and very traditional), and Dallas was extremely attentive to all of the intern's requests. Food is cheap and accessible inside and outside the Medina. I felt completely safe, supported, and comfortable in the riad. There were local program supervisors/assistants frequently in communication with the interns and physically present at the riad to impart important information to us regarding work placements, our whereabouts, etc.
The quality of the internship work was good; we were placed with an excellent national organization and given enough time to deliver projects. The NGO team was kind and actively collaborated with us. The general profile of interns participating in the program is early-twenties youth coming from various international backgrounds, like the UK, the Americas, and China.
Commuting in Rabat was easier than I expected: the bus fare is only 5 dirhams, the tram is 6 dirhams, public transit is equipped with air conditioning and free Wifi, there's a bullet train from Casablanca to Tangier, there are taxis everywhere, and local drivers are accessible. Pedestrians navigate the busy streets with caution and confidence.
Aside from the capital (which, by the way, is the most relaxed city in Morocco) there are multiple destinations that can be easily accessed within Morocco via train - interns have the chance to plan little weekend trips. We were able to visit the beautiful cities of Fez, Essaouira, Marrakech, Tangier, and Casablanca. The weather in Morocco during the summer is hot and sunny. Cities closer to the coast offer a more pleasant/balanced climate. The ocean view is gorgeous.
Overall the experience was fantastic, it was an opportunity to meet interesting people, make local connections, immerse ourselves in the beauty of Moroccan culture and become familiar with the dynamics of an NGO in the humanitarian sector. This internship felt like a dream.

Intern Abroad, through Euroace, set me up with a fantastic internship experience in Valencia, Spain. I got to do some really professionally satisfying work, stay with a host family that was very kind and provided me with an authentic experience, and got to meet many wonderful people. Definitely a summer to remember!

I had the privilege of working with a company that is specialised in constructing social houses during my internship. My primary role involved supporting administrative tasks and collaborating with the team to implement solutions that improved efficiency. Engaging in constant Spanish conversations with the locals, making a significant impact in my role, and exploring remarkable places all contributed to creating great memories that will last forever.
This would not been possible without the Intern Abroad team and their exceptional support. Their correct communication ensured that every aspect was taken care of. Whenever I had a question, they provided clear and friendly answers very quickly. The level of support I received was truly remarkable, making my journey smooth and enjoyable.
Moreover, I was incredibly fortunate to have the best host family during my time abroad. Their support and kindness made my experience even more special, and I'm grateful for everything they did for me.

Intern Abroad was such a fun opportunity because not only was I able to gain knowledge in my area of study, but I was able to travel and explore at the same time. If anyone is thinking of doing a program with Intern Abroad, just do it I promise you won't regret it.

I wholeheartedly recommend the remote internship with V2 Volunteer and Vacation, centered on "Child & Youth Mental Health."
Throughout my 3-week experience, I crafted and presented a 20-minute workshop tailored for Jamaican students aged 11 to 15. This distinctive project delves into cultural nuances surrounding mental health conversations in Jamaica. My workshop defines mental health within the local context, emphasizes its importance for youth, and addresses stigmas. It also covers recognizing the signs of those who are struggling and provides details about crisis helplines and local resources.
Witnessing the impact of open mental health discussions when sharing the workshop with teachers was incredibly fulfilling. Guided by my supervisor, Jade, this experience enriched me with valuable skills and cultural awareness, beneficial for my future career in child therapy.
In a nutshell, this transformative internship equips you with practical skills, cultural sensitivity, and mentorship. If you're passionate about mental health advocacy and youth well-being, or if you're aspiring to work in fields like children's counseling or social work, this opportunity is truly invaluable.

My internship was the perfect blend of everything I was looking for-- I obtained valuable clinical hours while improving my Spanish-speaking abilities. Along the way, I met some incredible people from all over the world, and I traveled to several new countries. I gained a deeper understanding of the Spanish way of life, which I hope to integrate many of these facets into my own life. I am grateful for Intern Abroad HQ for facilitating this unforgettable experience, and I think they are a top-notch company.

Intern abroad were a great help during my internship in Zanzibar, they were well-organised and made the transition straightforward. I thoroughly enjoyed my internship and the intern abroad supervisors/contacts were very useful and quick to reply to any queries me or my friends had.

Intern Abroad HQ made the application process very easy for my internship in Morocco, they provided immensely useful information such as the "Guide to Morocco" booklet. Regular emails were sent so we stayed updated on what was happening and we were more than prepared for our internship! Pick-up from the airport went smoothly. Our co-ordinator got us orientated on our first week there so we had a good idea of places to go. The other interns and I had to plan our excursions, which we did so weekly. Overall, an amazing opportunity if you would like to get some work experience and explore Morocco! During the 4-weeks, I was able to visit 4 other cities. A good balance of work and exploration.
My living arrangements were in a Riad, with around 12 people at some point. I also shared a room with 3 other people. The Riad was a lovely place to stay, showcasing traditional culture that made us feel truly Moroccan. Breakfast and dinner were provided daily, featuring traditional Moroccan dishes such as Tajine - very delicious! Finding lunch was also not an issue.
Overall, a great experience! Dallas Boyd from Intern Abroad HQ has been more than helpful and there was a great support system if we needed anything, before, during and after the internship.

My experience with the internship was completely remote. However, I still felt that I gained valuable experience and relevant skills in my career.

For 4 weeks, I worked as an English teaching assistant in a police-run after school club named 'Proyecto Colibri.' This was based in Cusco in Peru, which is a truly magical place... especially in the month of June as there were celebratory parades in the street everyday! During my internship with Intern Abroad HQ and Proyecto Peru, I had the perfect balance of work and play. For the first 2 weeks, I spent each morning in Spanish lessons that were of great value as the teacher was a native speaker, and the classes were 3 hours long, with a focus on conversation. The internship itself pushed me out of my comfort zone, as I was teaching English for the first time and had to exclusively speak Spanish to the staff. However, it was also great fun and it gave me room to be creative. For instance, I was allowed to implement new ideas in order to improve the structure of the after school club. My Spanish improved rapidly because of the full cultural immersion, and I saw many beautiful sites on the weekends, including; Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain and Lake Titicaca. Each week, the staff at Intern Abroad HQ would check in with my progress, moreover, the leaders at Proyecto Peru helped me to organise my trips, as well as ensuring my comfort in the host accommodation, and even organised social events to help me meet other students/volunteers. Overall, I had the experience of a lifetime, and I was in great hands with the company; Intern Abroad HQ. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an adventure or a way to enrich their academic pursuits. It is not easy... but nothing worth doing ever is!

"Learning through experience has been one of the best things I've come away with from my internship. I have learnt a lot about how law works in the European Union, my role opening doors for me to come to Europe and work in the field of law. I was involved in a series of different tasks related to trademarks, patents, designs, registrations and intellectual property infringement. I was responsible for drafting applications submitted on behalf of my company's brands, responding to oppositions received from other brands, filing complaints for intellectual property rights violations, conducting brand and design comparisons, researching current legislation on patents and trademarks, and interacting with trademark registration offices in the European Union. Legal multiculturalism has been one of the most enriching experiences I have acquired."

I am currently interning at an accounting firm in New York. So far the experience has been amazing. My in-country support (Marc) has been a huge help in finding me my internship, as well as accommodation and is always one call away if I need help. "This internship has solidified my plan to work in the field of psychology. It felt really empowering being able to apply my knowledge from college into real time psychological practices. During my internship I worked with children of all ages. I was there to try and keep the children entertained and happy, engaging them in discussions, board games and good behaviour. My role really benefited the organization by allowing members of staff additional support in managing their workload and not spreading themselves too thin. On a broad scale being able to speak Spanish is going to be a massive help in my future career. More importantly, learning how to work with children and young teens is incredibly beneficial. My favorite memory from the program was the first time I saw the kids I would be working with actually start to understand and listen to what I was saying while working together. When they started to listen and pay attention, it felt like I had really achieved something"

This program was amazing. They helped me every step of the way. They would send out reminders when things were due and they gave me a lot of information about Ireland before I left.

Becoming an intern abroad entails acquiring practical, hands-on experience at a foreign business or organization while participating in all the thrilling adventures. Thanks to Intern Abroad HQ, my experience in Cape Town, South Africa, has been immersed in the local culture filled with adventures from delicious wine tasting in Cape Town's finest vineyards, catching the sunset on a catamaran as well as going on vigorous walks alongside the coast and seeing penguins. Further, I have been immersed in the local culture by visiting local markets and tasting Cape Town's most exotic food, such as Ostrich!
In this work-hard, play-hard culture, I interned at a human rights NGO names Africa Unite whose goal is to build communities that are conflict free, enhance social cohesion and promote social and economic development. During this internship, I have been allowed to touch on all of these disciplines drafting government letters, public speaking, organizing events for 50+ people, and openly speaking about change regarding human rights, women's rights and children's. Further, I have learnt how to carefully analyze a societal problem and find the most sustainable solutions that help every community member. I have always been keen on making a change for the better, and thanks to Intern Abroad, it has been the perfect channel to do so outside of my studies!

It's literally so cool here, I love how walk/bus-able everything is, the food is amazing, the other interns here are so cool, and the location in general is just so gorgeous, I love it here! The only reason it's not a 5 is I got stuck with some kind of sucky roommates, but all of the other housemate are amazing and I love them so much !

This company was great in the planning of our trip to Greece. There was a lot of paperwork and changing plans that they handled very well. They choose their in-country contacts carefully and everyone was very helpful when questions arose.
