Amazing easy to use service
Very good app for ETF’s low fees
Very good app for ETF’s low fees. Take a awhile to update but if you know the times they do it it’s fine
Not as good as other apps
Not as good as other apps. I find it hard to understand why it takes nearly a week for a payment to be translated into the investment. Trades are only done once a day which I get but the transactions seem to to take days to actually benefit. I won't be adding any more to my portfolio iSA and will probably transfer it.
Easy and very trustworthy

Terrible Customer care and communication
And so the saga continues with this useless brokerage. I’ve now been asked to send the same form in yet again after another 3 day wait for them to respond.
AVOID AT SLL COSTS

Simple and informative.
Great tech, but customer support let me down when it mattered!
InvestEngine’s platform is genuinely impressive, clean, well-designed, and easy to use. But my recent experience with their customer support has made me think twice about relying on them when something important is at stake.
They ran a SIPP transfer promotion with a bonus payable on transfers completed by end of April. On the 29th, I received a reminder email from them, which was good. Before initiating the transfer, I wanted to clarify one specific point in the terms: did the transfer need to complete by April 30th, or was initiating it sufficient? It wasn’t clear from the wording.
There’s no phone number, so I used their web form. They didn’t reply until May 4th, by which point the promotion had ended. Their response? Sorry the promotion has ended, but if you’d done the transfer it wouldn’t have mattered when it settled. Helpful in retrospect. Useless in practice.
I asked if they’d honour an exception given I’d contacted them before the deadline. The reply was ambiguous. They suggested I go ahead with the transfer and they’d ask if an exception could be made. In other words, transfer your money and we might pay the bonus. Might.
I asked a third time for a straight answer. The response was essentially a reiteration of the same.
I’m not writing this out of bitterness. The underlying platform is good and I’ll likely continue using the platform for my ISA. But if you ever need a human, nuanced response to a time sensitive question, be aware that their support can be slow, and when pushed, it defaults to rigid rather than reasonable.

Newbie experience
I am a newbie in the investment market and had scattered investments across several platforms. I finally decided to consolidate my investments on one platform and chose InvestEngine after doing a little research on which was better for my style. The InvestEngine app is intuitive, straightforward, and easy to understand, even for new investors like myself. Setting up direct debits was quite easy, and I particularly like that I can set up a standing order to debit and invest automatically every week, fortnight, or month. Although this feature is currently limited to a small number of banks, it still helps me invest consistently and gives me better market exposure by capturing smaller movements over time.

Opened a SIPP to add regular monthly contributions. The process was pretty easy and all is going well. The only thing I think could be improved is the time it takes manual deposits to actually be invested.
InvestEngine client services took days…
InvestEngine client services took days to reply to my query. They claim to often reply in two days. Very poor service. Other investment platforms offer far better service.

Safe, regulated, and reliable!
It is incredibly rare to find a platform that doesn't charge buy/sell fees while maintaining rigid institutional security. InvestEngine manages to pull it off perfectly. I love that my money is held in segregated accounts at major banks and that they are protected by the FSCS. Knowing that the company is fully regulated by the FCA gives me the confidence to deposit larger amounts without a second thought. Fast withdrawals, transparent tracking, and ultimate peace of mind!
