The job was underestimated by 1/2. It took 2 trips instead of 1 because the truck was not large enough. I had to pay extra gas charge which was totally unfair. I had to work with the movers at least for 1/2 the job to finish in time. The only bright spot was the moving people were absolutely outstanding. this is the second time I have done this review and I'm still waiting for an offer of my extra gas milage back. So a 2 star is generous.

Five large missing boxes! No one to take responsibility. No basic insurance because NO ONE TOLD US THAT IF WE PACK OURSELVES WE MUST KEEP A NUMBERED BOX-BY-BOX
INVENTORY TO MAKE A CLAIM! We know what was in those boxes but our word was not acceptable. We signed off at delivery because there was no way to keep track of boxes rapidly being deposited in various rooms and WE TOOK THE MOVER'S WORD THAT THE CHECK-OFF LIST WAS ACCURATE! We were bilked, plain and simple. No one would check back with the various van drivers and storage personnel to see if our boxes had shown up because no one wanted to accept responsibility for error/carelessness.

THOSE FIVE BOXES ARE SOMEWHERE!

I tell everyone about our experience and advise them not to use Issac's. We are Isaac's worst publicity and intend to continue
telling the facts to anyone we know who plans a move.

In our lifetime, we have never worked with any person or company that worked harder to ensure that when the job was finished you were completely satisfied with the final results.

Great people to work with, both the office and the movers! Very professional.

I have used Isaac's Moving and Storage through many moves in the Boston area, and every time they are fabulous.

Inexperienced movers. Even though my house was the only stuff on the truck, they still managed to lose items. Several items were broken, including a wooden bed and fragile antique pieces that they packed. It was a very disappointing experience.

Movers were friendly and the unpacking team was exceptionally helpful. Nothing broke which was a huge improvement from my last experience. However, I had a gold chain link bracelet go missing from the top of a jewelry armoire during the move, and notified the company who never returned my call. I realize this is one person’s word against another, but I knew exactly where it was and it was a perfect, concealable, item to pocket. Also, The movers who packed me up were watching some videos on their phones for a few minutes and weren’t particularly clever about getting things on the truck (one moving items in, three watching).

After being required to provide my credit card number on a piece of paper, my credit card was compromised a few days later.

Awesome Job! Great , Professional Crew!

Actual amount was 25% more than estimate. They took unnecessary toll roads.

5 stars: Excellent – no reservations, I would recommend this company to anyone.
