I love my clothes from isolated heroes 😍 the brand ethos and slow fashion approach suits me as much as the clothes too 😁 I've got 3 dresses, a jumper and a beret so far. They are all very wearable and stylish. The clothes always get commented on. One of the best things I did for my 60th was pay for a dress workshop and wore the dress for my party. Such a fab way of treating myself. Thanks to the IH team for bringing much needed happy into fashion 🤍

I heard nothing back about an order I made in 2021 for two months after purchase. Finally, I received a refund after requesting one. During that time no contact was made with me regarding my order.

I recently made a purchase in December 22 and, as of February 2023, I am still waiting for it as well as any tracking information. Reply times from the owner average two weeks with no follow up.

Such disappointing customer service.

My daughter and I had a fantastic time at a recent kids workshop. It was such a memorable experience. Sam and Cerrys were so friendly, helpful and patient. My daughter had never used a sewing machine before, but that didn’t matter, with child (and parent) friendly demonstrations at every stage, practice runs, and on hand support from the Isolated Heroes Team, she built up her confidence quickly, and found a new love for making her own clothing. I would highly recommend an Isolated Heroes workshop.

I purchased a kids custom sequin jacket for my neice's 1st birthday (the second one I've purchased as a gift as they are SUPER CUTE and everyone is always blown away by them). I suddenly realised that I hadn't allowed enough time for it to be made and delivered, so I reached out to Isolated Heroes to express my worries and the lovely Samantha came back to me (within minutes) and assured me that they would put this through as urgent. The jacket arrived a couple of days later (with no extra charge) and was even more stunning than I could have imagined. I've been an Isolated Heroes customer for a number of years now and they will always be me go-to for all things sequins! Thank you Samantha and Team Isolated Heroes - keep being brilliant 💖

Booked the design a bag workshop for my wife and it was super easy to navigate the system and she can’t wait to go to the workshop now 💖 great value for money and we know through other products we’ve purchased the quality is fantastic.

The black sequin, T-shirt style dress is great for me. Dressy but casual at the same time. It is made of a good quality fabric which is surprisingly cosy. I find the sleeves stick out a bit on me so I’d prefer them a bit more capped.
I gave the sequin clutch bag to a friend for Christmas and she said it was her favourite present 🎁

The isolated heroes website is always easy and straight forward to order from. I ordered three of the customised initial kids jumpers. They arrived very beautifully packaged, the only downside was I had to open them up to make sure the correct child got the correct initial, but very easy to wrap back up! The jumpers are so cute and my nieces and nephew look so cute in them.

Great item just as described, fits perfectly (I used the size guide measurements). Packaged really well and communication was good.
Overall I LOVE my item!!

My second poor review for the same reasons - potential customers need to be aware of this.

I ordered a sequin bomber jacket in October which was listed as a pre-order, shipping from 1st Nov. To me, and I appreciate this may be incorrect, pre order would indicate the usual 14-21 day lead time to make it to order would be reduced, because surely if you know how many pre orders you have, you can get making!

After I wrote my previous review regarding a previous poor order experience, Samantha finally got in touch (this was after multiple unanswered emails to customer service) and I requested an update on this. She said the supplier had only just dispatched the fabric (this was 17th Nov, so 17 days after the jackets would supposedly have been sent out), so it would be another 1-2 weeks before the jacket would be shipped. She offered to make it in a different fabric but I said I would wait the 1-2 weeks and asked to be updated if any further delays were experienced.

Well, to nobody’s surprise, it’s now 23rd Dec and I haven’t heard a peep. I’ve emailed again and heard nothing. I’m close to putting in a PayPal claim which I hate to do because I really wanted this jacket but this is really taking the p***.

Scrolling back to previous reviews there have been issues with their customer service as far back as 2020 and clearly nothing has changed despite all the promises from the founder.

I have no issue with a brand being slow fashion and having to wait for items to be made from scratch. That’s no excuse for poor communication (or complete absence of it) and broken promises. Had a delay with a fabric supplier? Proactively email every customer it affects. Not difficult.

To be honest I feel like a fool for even believing anything Samantha said and believing that I should invest in their clothes TWICE. If it takes a critical Trustpilot review for a company to respond to their customer after multiple emails, that should tell you everything - the only customer service available is performative at best.

I ordered a made to measure Frida maxi dress from Isolated Heroes as a 40th birthday treat from me to me. I was utterly thrilled with the dress. I'm 5'1" and a size 16-18 and most dresses for my size come with giant shoulders, long sleeves, broad backs etc. Not so with this dress, it fitted like a dream. I had a couple of questions before ordering so used the chat function through Facebook messenger. All replies were lovely and helpful. It felt really friendly and personal, which is what I love about shopping with an independent. I know the company were incredibly busy with a show at the time as I follow them on Instagram but the dress arrived in good time. I sent my measurements on 16th November, they asked when my party was (3rd December) and said that it would be with me on the 1st December. It arrived in a box wrapped in tissue paper on the 1st December. The dress was gorgeous to wear, a velvet fabric covered in sequins. I asked for a small design change because I didn't want such a low cut at the front and they obliged. I had so many compliments at my party, it was perfect for a December do in the cold weather, it felt really glamorous and special. I was also delighted that there was an option to spread the cost across three months as it was a real treat for me and not something I'd usually be able to afford. I'd previously bought a dress from a sample sale through Instagram and that whole process was also fabulous. It's the first time since I was a kid and my mum sewed my ra ra skirts and waistcoats that I've had something made to fit my body measurements and I couldn't have been happier. Super flattering, spectacular design, big fan. Love Love Love.

Just got my order of my sequin bum bag, and I LOVE it!

I’m sad to say this has been one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had.

Late delivery - no responses to emails- poor fit and quality- returned at my expense- refusal to refund until PayPal intervened - five months of emailing in total!

I try to shop with small businesses when I am able to, and I appreciate things can take longer but I’ve never experienced such poor service.

I had a special event coming up and had saved up to buy an investment piece for myself. I bought a pre order dress on the 28th of July, the dress didn’t arrive until the 10th of October. There was no information offered on when I could expect the item and all my emails went unanswered. Needless to say, my event passed before the dress arrived. The dress itself was also a bad fit and was losing sequins from only taking it out the box.

I returned it immediately (at my own expense) and was contacted by the company to ask if I wanted a refund. I said yes, and they acknowledged my bad experience and assured me it would be processed quickly… two months later and many more unanswered emails I received my refund after raising a dispute with PayPal.

I don’t write negative reviews but hopefully this will save someone else many months of hassle.

Made to measure as I'm over 6ft you always add a few inches. Beautiful dress.

Reached out to isolated heroes to help choose and make a dress as a surprise for my wife’s 40th birthday celebrations could not fault the service from start to finish, my wife loved the dress and the personnel touch of having this made by a local designer will definitely use isolated heroes again.

I love, love, love, Isolated Heroes. Besides the fact that the clothes are unique and head turning, their attention to detail and customer service is amazing. I tried on dresses, but was between sizes, they offered to take the larger one in to suit with no problems (and did it quickly too). Not only are their clothes sustainable, but you can tell that everyone who works there has a real passion for what they do. I need to be invited to more sparkly parties so I have an excuse to shop more! I have, and will continue to recommend to friends.

Communication with Isolated Heroes could be better. My messages and emails were not answered, however I appreciate that this is a busy time.

Beautiful handmade coat , clothing that becomes sentimental. Quick delivery and great communication through email. Cant wait to see my daughter in her coat for her 1st birthday.
