Ignored for months and still missing €7,537 – this is unacceptable

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with ISX Financial.

I have been waiting for months to receive the remaining amount of €7,537 that is still outstanding. Despite multiple attempts to contact ISX Financial, I continue to be ignored and have not received any clear solution or timeline.

For clarity: I have already received €14,928.60, which was returned through communication and coordination between three parties involved. This clearly shows that there was established contact and agreement regarding the return of funds. However, the remaining €7,537 is still missing and has not been returned.

I have tried repeatedly to resolve this matter in a proper and cooperative way, but after several months I am still waiting without a concrete response.

Once again: I am requesting the immediate return of my remaining €7,537.

I expect ISX Financial to take responsibility and resolve this issue without further delay.

This is an official complaint regarding my experience with you IsX . Ive been waiting for weeks without any response on all my emails

I am currently waiting for a refund of €2900 and have not received any clear or meaningful response. What is particularly concerning is that multiple employees have viewed my profile on LinkedIn but have not responded to my messages.

The lack of communication regarding such a significant amount is unacceptable and highly unprofessional for a financial institution.

I urgently request that :

provide immediate clarity on the status of my refund

communicate a clear and binding timeline

handle my complaint seriously and with priority

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate it through the relevant regulatory authorities and other official channels.

A Quick No is better than a mislead Maybe.

If hope and enthusiasm I applied for an account with this company to integrate their Paid By Bank product into my site. I was open and transparent as to the trading style and got a congratulations email. After what is now a week later and several calls to their London based number supplied through the FCA website, I was diverted to a receptionist in Cyprus.

A very pleasant and polite lady, who informed me each time she would pass on my messages. After further chasing I received a mail through the ISX dashboard on my new account to apologise for the delay. They were now reviewing the account previously accepted without any trading and would access with my set up details shortly. Having not heard for some days since I sent another message this morning. WHen I went to check the account this afternoon my password is no longer recognised.

I called the Cyprus again and was told that there was no one available and that she would pass my message on.

The issue here is not whether my business was acceptable to them but the way they have behaved towards what until at least today was a customer. I will now have to inform the platform that offered their service for integration and go back to the drawing board.
It seems even when you are transparent with people they still find ways of not treating you with customer care. We are a new skill based game of chance and hoped we could have done some good for the people of the UK.

Serious Compliance Concerns and Failure to Act on Potentially Unlawful Use of Payment Infrastructure

ISX Financial presents itself as a highly regulated institution with a strong focus on fraud prevention and compliance. In practice, however, it appears that this protection mainly applies to their own account holders and not to victims who make payments through their infrastructure. In my case, payments were processed for an unlicensed gambling operator, which raises serious concerns about the execution of their KYC, AML, and duty-of-care obligations.

My bank has confirmed that for these open-banking transfers, no recall or chargeback is technically possible and that only the beneficiary can initiate a refund. This makes ISX the only party that can effectively reach and hold the account holder accountable. Despite this, responsibility is largely shifted away from them, even though their payment infrastructure was used in connection with potentially unlawful activities.

Furthermore, ISX does not respond substantively to the facts and legal arguments I raise. Instead of addressing the concrete compliance and duty-of-care issues, I receive generic responses and standard references, without any indication that my specific situation is being meaningfully assessed.

Without suggesting that ISX is knowingly involved, it is reasonable to expect that a financial institution, when faced with clear indicators of potentially illegal activity, responds not only formally but also substantively, investigates its account holder thoroughly, and communicates transparently about the actions taken.

This is not a standard refund request, but a compliance and potential fraud matter. Moreover, it concerns a financial loss of more than €20,000, which further underlines the seriousness and urgency of this situation.

Their response:

“We are the payment processor and our responsibility lies with our account holders and not the payees of them. We are therefore not obligated to assist you directly as you are not our customer.

We cannot guarantee that the merchant will reply to or refund you. This is merely a good will attempt.”

This response limits ISX’s role to a purely contractual relationship and ignores its broader legal obligations as a regulated financial institution. Even without a direct customer relationship, ISX remains responsible under AML, KYC, and duty-of-care regulations to prevent and investigate misuse of its payment infrastructure. Presenting its actions as merely a “goodwill attempt” is legally insufficient and inconsistent with its role as a financial gatekeeper.

If anyone has additional insights, experiences, or comments related to ISX Financial or similar situations, I would greatly appreciate hearing them. Any information or perspective that could help clarify this matter or support further action is very welcome.

In this instance, we acted solely as a payment service provider that facilitated your bank transfer payments to the merchant in question.

We are not the merchant nor are we the operator of their platform. We cannot therefore comment on or adjudicate any matters relating to the merchant’s services, contractual relationship with players, or any licensing or regulatory status.
Any questions or disputes regarding the merchant’s services, licensing status, withdrawals or account activity must be addressed directly with the merchant.

Additionally, we are unable to share with you directly or publicly, any internal compliance investigations and decisions.

We do remain available however to address payment processing questions within our remit as a payment service provider.

We also offer, where applicable, to reach out to the merchant in question and request they contact their end user directly to resolve any service-related disputes or enquiries.
(Providing us with all relevant transaction details is a prerequisite prior to us attempting to contact the merchant).

The above-mentioned offer was extended to you when you contacted us. We specifically requested an itemised list of all the gambling transactions you were disputing.

We made this request on 3 separate occasions however you refused to provide us with the information we needed, claiming the transactions were too many to list as they exceeded 100.

It was only when you would not provide us with an itemised transaction list, that we referred you back to the merchant. We handled your correspondence in accordance with our internal compliance and complaint-handling procedures and applicable legal obligations.

In retaliation, you placed an unfavourable review on Trustpilot.

Unfortunately, you then continued to harass us via email and more importantly, offered to amend your Trustpilot review if we intervened on your behalf and persuaded the merchant to refund you.

We declined your offer.

Having said the above, it was brought to our attention, that you did successfully communicate with the service provider and agreed, in writing, to a refund that has already been deposited into your bank account.

We were pleased to learn that you directly resolved your dispute with the merchant in question and considered the matter closed.

You have since contacted us again however advising that you believed you are owed more money by the merchant and reiterated that you will only amend/remove your Trustpilot reviews if we assist with your negotiations with the merchant.

We declined your offer again, regardless of whether we would have appreciated your misleading Trustpilot reviews be removed.

We cannot engage with requests that make assistance conditional upon the removal or amendment of an online review and border on extortion.

Reviews cannot be used as leverage for support, compensation or other actions.

Please note that review platforms are intended to reflect independent customer experiences and as you are not our customer nor have you had any direct dealings or experiences with us, we have responded accordingly and in line with applicable policies and procedures.

SCAM company

Then they suspend your account and ask for imaginary and not existant documents which is impossible to provide- recipients id, recipients bank account statemnt and so on. Why third party should provide any documents at all? nobody would agree. Got my money back only after submited a fraud report to my original bank from which toped up this account. Never again.

The Business sector of payments

The Business sector of payments, banking and open banking is divided into two sections of professionals. One is very largely populated with amateurs, dreamers, "wanna-be's" and other like-minded individuals devoid of any material substance. The second section is composed of a minor group of professionals who are sharp-minded, ambitious and result-oriented. iSX is a leader in the latter.

Have found the company very professional in every way.
I have had no concerns and everything seems to move smoothly.
I just hope at some stage they will issue their own cards and make life easier.

No fraud protection

The website is full of promises of fraud protection but it is only protecting their customers and they don't seem to do any due diligence on their customers to see if they are legitimate businesses and have regulatory certificates in place. There is absolutely no fraud protection for innocent victims paying your customers !

Quote from an e-mail received from ISXPAY support desk:
We sympathise with your experience however we are unable to retrieve funds from beneficiary accounts unless the beneficiary agrees to return them. Our involvement is very limited.

Our contractual relationship stands with our account holders and not with the payees of them. Furthermore, our account holders are responsible for the services they provide, associated transactions and resolving any disputes with their customers. We are not a party to whatever agreement was reached between your client and the account holder.

Surely if you have frozen the scammer account, they are in breach of contract and therefore, the contract is null and void = you can help a victim get their money back and should be proactively contacting police authorities. It's no use referring me back to my originating bank as you hold all the info on the scammer customer !!
