The worst company

We had tickets from Venice to Ljubljana for 02.01.2025 at 17-15. At 11-00 we received a message that the bus was delayed by 3 hours. We tracked the bus on the tracker and the delay increased to 6 hours. At 21-00 we received a message that our tickets were cancelled and we were given new ones for the next day. I found myself at nine in the evening with two small children in Venice without a place to stay, as a result I had to urgently book a hotel for 250 euros. If I had been told right away that there would be no bus, I would have left in another way. As a result of the work of the disgusting Itabus, children exhausted by a long wait and minus 250 euros.

Kind and helpfull OVIDIO

There is a lot of hope for humanity and its kindness thanks to OVIDIO, a kind, humble man , the ITABUS employee.
His help and gentle care helped us to make our Italian trip more comfortable.
We were in a very distressed position with limited money , after being robbed in the Rome Metro.
With no hesitation OVIDIO directed us to the bus within our means and treated.us with Italian coffee & flavourful trea.
Thanks to You OVIDIO and Your MOM.
We.made safe and sound to Florence in comfortable and warm Itabus.

The company is bordel

The company is bordel. Literally. You have no idea about customer support and immediate assistance. We made a booking for two people from Rome to Florence. Unfortunately the date we selected was wrong. We paid the fee to change the date online. The site showed us that everything was OK and that our seats were 51 and 52. (itinerary Rome from Florence, bus departing from Tiburtina station at 11:00 on Friday 6/12). However, we couldn't receive our booking confirmation number or download the ticket with the correct date. We submitted our question and request via the website and the messages were in Italian or saying bullshit. All we asked for was the valid booking number and to know if we were entitled for refund on case we had to book the same tickets again. No reply via emails. We go to Itabus offices and the receptionist told us to leave saying "these are the Headquarters, not customer service center, go to Itabus station". We asked for help with the address because we've been walking for 30' and more and he wasn't even that kind to reply . After we said that he represents the company and should care because if his colleagues at the help center had replied, this wouldn't happen. The receptionist simply said that he understands that we are upset but it is not his job to provide help. He is the worst example of employee, unable to manage a crisis and customer urgent request. After we went out, we called the help center (imagine the charge since we were not calling from Italian number). I explained briefly our question and he put us on hold with no further reply ! We headed off to Tiburtina station as the joke-receptionist advised and their reply was to call the help center! Shame on you all. You are unable to run a company if you cause so many problems to your customers. Shame on you for the quality of service you provide and the zero respect to the people who trust you during their vacation with their money.

Poor, unprofessional customer service

I lost really important personal belongings, and their customer service was entirely unprofessional and unhelpful about the process. They have no contact with the lost and found office, which only operates through email, which they simply don't answer. Extremely unprofessional and poor customer service.

Bus was late 1.5 hours then another 2…

Bus was late 1.5 hours then another 2 hours late to arrive to destination. Costing me my appointment. Horrible experience where they are always always always late. My return bus was also late by 1.5 hours. Had to wait for hours in the freezing cold everytime. I’m never taking the buses again

The worst experience

I have booked itabus ticket from Florence to Rome at 14:20. The bus delayed for over two hours. In the meantime we called multiple times to the company to ask what is going on because we didn’t have any notification and we were going to lose our flight. They said that the delay is due to the rainy weather and that the bus is on its way. So me and my friends and many other people were waiting at the platform trying to find a solution and getting no response from the company. We called again and again to ask what can we do, if we can leave with another means of transportation, or if we can get a refund for the tickets, because of the huge delay and inconvenience, and they just keep hanging up the phone and said “there’s nothing we can do”. The worst company i have ever seen. We eventually get a train, spend 60€ and loose our money and our time waiting for their bus that probably never came.

Perfectly fine

We were unfortunate to have plans to travel by train from Verona to Venice on the exact day of a trainstrike. Instead of going by train, we booked tickets for Itabus. I was a bit scared when I saw rhe reviews on here, but everything went perfectly. The bus was on time, the seats were nice, bus was clean, service adequate. It saved our day!

Worst experience ever with this company! In the middle of the night we were 10 people waiting for the bus and didn’t arrive and no refound for the tickets!

They don’t care about the clients

Factors related to corporate governance, support and concern for the consumer experience (pre, during and after the service) are basic requirements for any person and company in 2024. It is the minimum. It is frightening, shameful and extremely alarming to see a company unable to guarantee less than the minimum. Honestly, after coming across countless such sad and serious reports about experiences with Itabus, I can't stop wondering how it is possible that this company is still authorized to sell anything. It is unbelievable that for years a frightening number of people have been reporting exactly the same problems and until now absolutely nothing has been done to intervene in this embarrassing business.

Lost a mobile phone on Itabus from…

Lost a mobile phone on Itabus from Milan to Venice on 27 Aug. Ran after bus to next stop but the drivers refused to assist and shut the doors in our face. The phone number doesn't work and there's no way to get in touch with this scam bus company. Never using this bus again and would not recommend.

This company is super bad

This company is super bad, how come they sent to us an email day before saying that our bus will be delayed 150 minutes… without a reason .. super bad!! We have things to do .. we would love to buy a ticket in FLIXBUS :)

Cheap but at what cost?

Let’s say that the schedule is just a suggestion for itabus buses. The bus is always, ALWAYS late, so never expect to arrive on your final destination on time. And I’m not talking about 20 or 30 minutes delays (that are already unacceptable) but delays of at least one hour that can go up to 1:40. If you track your bus on the app, it will always be saying that it is earlier than it really is (so yeah, the app full on lies to you). If you have to change bus or are taking the itabus to the airport, I suggest taking a bus that would give you at least a 3 hour gap to make sure you have enough, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the bus was delayed even more. On top of everything, you can’t incline your seat down for more comfort without receiving a complain from the person seating behind you, even though there is enough space. Always a mess when the bus arrives, with customers skipping the line to check the tickets and drop the luggage. I think the whole experience just brings out the worse in people idk. Rude customers, horrible service. Left one star cause it’s impossible to rate lower.

A worst bus service I have ever…

Dissatisfied😐 A worst bus service I have ever travelled. We are waiting for the bus from 10am. But time is 10.35am to Vanice Mestre. But it is getting late 2hr & 30 min. When I called them they just told that, if I want I can refund ticket payment without suggesting any alternative option. There is a another bus trip at 12pm as well. As a reputed bus service provider they should responsible more than this.. 😐

Itabus is the worst bus company

Itabus is the worst bus company I've ever used on any of my trips. The bus is 2 hours late and no alternative is offered, not to mention the unpleasant and inhuman bus drivers. I risk missing my return flight because of this incident. I don't recommend it. To be avoided.
