I bought a ticket from Rome to Venice Mestre Station, suppose to depart at 11:25pm. But the only bus that came was at 11:55pm and this is towards a different train station at Venice.

I paid €28.97 for a smooth journey to reach Venice. Ended up I have to struggle to find for another bus at 12am at the bus station!!!

This is a scam and none of the customer service lines work!

The itabus drivers aren't even helpful at all. This paints such a bad experience for a first time traveller in Italy.

I WANT A FULL REFUND OF MY TICKET. NON NEGOTIABLE.

When you call on the phone they told us that they can not do anything and they can not take another bus

We had a wonderful experience from Naples to Rome. It was comfortable, clean and the WiFi was incredibly fast. The speed and timing was perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing. I would definetly take it again .

I travelled from Ostuni and back to Naples and had the most comfortable journey ever by bus. The seats were very comfortable and temperature in the bus was perfect. I felt very safe with both journeys' Itabus drivers who were both professional, polite and helpful. The buses ere punctual and I love the bus tracking site too. I wonder if Itabus does special travel fares for seniors- I am 60 years old? Also like Flixbus, it is good to see that Itabus also takes bicycles as special luggage and dogs up to 10 kg. Really look forward to my next journey with Itabus!!

The morning journey from piacenza to Florence (19/11/2022) in itself was great. It was on time, clean and a comfortable coach. However, the female driver was rude, obnoxious and disrespectful. Never again!! She started shouting at me because I didn’t inform her that I wanted to use the toilet. She scolded other passengers too!! Ridiculous! A basic sign on the door of the toilet would’ve stopped this very unpleasant experience.

This company bus is late two times in same day. First time 40 minutes, second time 1h and 15 minutes! Outrages! One employee was helpful, everyone else very rude. No explanation, no apologies... Nothing. Bus interior is ok, everything else is far from good service.

I had read reviews here before I tried ITAbus. Most reviews were so bad, mentioning negative feedbacks about the experience. But I tried anyway. And turned out that my experience was excellent. The bus was on time. The seat was comfortable. I had enough time to catch my flight. My trip was from Trieste to Venice Marco Polo airport. The arrival was right at the airport. It was really helpful! So, I doubt the negative reviews going on around this website. I am happy that I finally tried the bus!

I have been reading the reviews and they are all the same and true: apparently there Itabus only hires weird, crazy, arrogante and ill-mannered nutheads.

The worst things is that they give ZERO f*cks about you losing a plane ticket (in our case). It's beyond outraging. NEVER USE IT unless you don't mind being mistreated and are not in a hurry.

Was worried because of some of the horror stories on here but was actually a great experience. Bus arrived pretty much on time, seemed v new, air conditioned and comfortable. Had a tiny toilet too which was ok. They didn't care whether we had more than one carry on or the weight / size of our suitcases even though the ticket specifies them. Make sure you bring a mask though- that's the one thing they did ask for. Not sure if they specified FFP2 but we got ones for a euro each from a shop in the metro station a few days prior after reading the reviews here.

Torino to Milano 2022.09.12 07:55am bus arrived 8:05-8.10. We came bus station 1h ago and driver demanded us to wear FF2 masks. I wore it but my boyfriend didn't have it. Driver came late by hisself not us. I asked him to wait just A MINUTE to buy it. But he said that we already left we don't have time to wait you. He was super rude. We paid our ticket. It wasn't free and we didn't try to use his bus for free!!!! He didn't even try to help us like it was not his business. It is his work!!!! If he come at exact time we could buy mask just a minite! There was tabacci near!
We late our the most important work, everything failed! We even bought return ticket! We have to cancel it because of it. The worest day we've ever experienced.

No indication of needing FF2 masks anywhere while booking or on the ticket. The driver was only speaking italian and we could not understand. Our bus was at 9pm late night and we were scared to be stranded in the new scary city. on board some people were wearing regular masks whilst they refused to let us on board without them.
The driver was very rude and arguing in Italian and did not speak english so we were not able to understand what he wants us to do.

2 hours delay. No information from the itabus…

The bus driver threatened to call the police, because he didn't think I had the right ffp2 mask on. So i was not allowed on the bus. I couldn't even get my money back because he didn't speak English.

No indication of needing FF2 masks and when we had to get them they cost us €3 for one mask only to see that on board some people were wearing regular masks whilst they refused to let us on board without them.
We saw an elderly man with a heart condition have to argue to get on even though he was wearing a regular mask to try and compromise!

Rude aggressive service. Bus arrived 35 minutes late. The driver then shouted that he would not let any passengers on unless they were wearing FFP2 Covid face masks (normal ones not allowed). This information was provided nowhere in the booking beforehand. Our tickets were then not scanning and he said he would not let us on - despite having paid for them and it being the correct bus. Eventually he called the central office who said there was a problem with the scanning and we were allowed on. A horrible experience, arrogant, scary and aggressive driver.

An elderly couple who had face masks but not the correct FFP2 masks were also left at the side of the road.

Unprofessional, rude, unpunctual, a real shame. Arrives 1.5 hours late, then stresses the guests, suddenly does not allow hand luggage, drives aggressively. Route: Roma to Milano, Saturday Morning

Worst experience ever. We have waited 2 hours for the bus to come and we end up taking a train by our own because there was literally no one there to give a plan B or to say why the bus were not coming. We called the customer's service they hung up on us. No one deserve to be treated that way, people are waiting a year to go on holidays and you are just messing us everything. a SHAME.

DO NOT TRAVEL WITH ITABUS!!! I’d just spent a week getting my luggage back from an airline losing it, only for Itabus to leave it at a bus stop somewhere from the top of Italy to the bottom the next day. I tried multiple times to get their assistance, with little to no help. When I asked for compensation they denied responsibility or wrongdoing. The actual conditions on board were okay, but if you want to keep your belongings, travel with literally anyone else. It was also really difficult to find the location of the bus stop. Never again.

Amazing bus in italy, good clean and push back seats

AVOID ITABUS! The bus from Bari to Matera didn't show up and we had to take a train. Of course, we didn't even get our money back.
