If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. They don’t allow you refunds after a certain amount no matter how many years it’s been since your last refund. I’ve accidentally bought duplicates and I’m just SOL bc they won’t allow me a refund. I can’t even imagine someone who steals my money to buy stuff on there. I’m just gonna be screwed bc they refuse to give me any refunds no matter the reason. I hate them. They give zero craps about their customers no matter how long they been customers

Worst customer service around

Worst customer service around. Wasting my time getting told they could help with an ITunes issue and got bounced around on hold for over 45 minutes to be told they cannot help. The manager I dealt with was useless and no help at all!!!!

Apple iTunes is a completely RIPOFF…

Apple iTunes is a completely RIPOFF ...!!! Every time a change a phone ... I loosing the songs Pre owned, paid for . OUTRAGEOUS 👎. Apple iTunes change artist albums presentations and “ update “ their stores BUT they DON’T give customers the Option to reload the songs in the new device.... just after you buy 2 o 3 times sane song then ... then they will recommend to download but wait ... the songs WON’T appear as you bought it ... it will be the sane songs just DIFFERENT presentation and of course... You will have to pay for these songs again. DOUBLE DIPPING in your pockets SCAMMERS. I decided to STOP buying from this people because.... they DON’T even “ can “ provide you with billing information, Purchases detailed information.... Apple iTunes DON’T know nothing... so they WON’T be responsible for NOTHING..!!! Typical scam modus Operandis ... Disgraceful.

DON'T SPEND $ ON ITUNES!!!!!!

When it first came out, I spent a lot of money buying albums and songs from them as well as uploading some of my albums to me library. Now, I can't access ANY of the albums I PURCHASED and if a song on one of my uploaded albums is on their new service, I can't play that song either...unless I buy a monthly subscription to their service. Plus, there doesn't seem to be a way I can download the albums I PURCHSED from them to my personal hard drive to listen to through another media player.

It appears that the sucked enough money out of customers with their old service and decided to extract more money from them to listen to the music they ALREADY PAID FOR by forcing us to buy another service. Don't be fooled to think they won't do it again on this new service.

If you can't download the album to your own personal hard drive them don't buy it. You will loose hundreds of dollars, just like me.

iTunes getting worse every year

iTunes was good, but this was 10 years ago, you could use it easily, synchronise iPhone easily...

Now everything you want to do is battle, to put 2 new songs o. Your iPhone it could take you 2 hours of search why is not working, updating to new iTunes or iPhone update just making it worse...

The easiest things are becoming more and more complicated to do ...

So 1/5 is well deserved because even the simple things are becoming horrible to do ...

Practically every software upgrade or update results in hours of troubleshooting to get your devices to work properly again. Just not worth the expensive price tag anymore with all the frustrating trouble shooting. Upgrading home along with a different brand of internet devices soon.

Apple and ITunes are so unhelpful and wont give full refund

I have been reading National geographic since I was a kid

Since 2014 I have purchased it through Apple iTunes and so been able to access all my issues and receive monthly editions on my iPad and iPhone since that date

On 14 December 2020 Nat Geo decided to withdraw that all immediately. All of my back editions disappeared and I could no longer read my current or back editions. Without any warning or apology.

I contacted Nat Geo who confirmed that they have done this. They refused to give me any of the back editions I legally purchased through my direct account with them that still exists from 2014. They also refused to reimburse me my annual subscription that still runs to 7 May 2021 because I paid it through Apple itunes.

Apple ITunes have also refused to refund the full subscription even though I cannot access my full year of editions. Their refund request system is set up so that you cannot even request a refund for a subscription that was entered into over 90 days ago. I spent 166 minutes online with them to no avail. They say it is Nat Geos fault.

Main lessons are:

1. Never trust digital content. You think it will always be there but as soon as it becomes too expensive to maintain the publisher will withdraw access when they want without any compensation
2. I shall no longer use Apple iTunes.
3. Find a more customer friendly organisation than National geographic to buy magazines from.

Whereas the actual music is great, films leave a lot to be desired.

Whereas the actual music is great, the films leave a lot to be desired.I ordered a number of films and discovered one doesn’t have subtitles/closed captioning, as I have a significant hearing loss this an issue. When I complained I was given a link to a list which I was told I should have checked before ordering. I'm not psychic! This list is not available anywhere on the iTunes site. I now go to Amazon (UK) where it tells you if there are subtitles/closed captions and if they've accidentally marked it wrongly or you accidentally purchased it then you can ask for and get an immediate refund.
