Purchased a genuine Eberspächer…
Purchased a genuine Eberspächer Airtronic D2 from Jackson Leisure for my campervan build.
Unfortunately the heater appears to have an internal fault and has never functioned from installation. I’ve carried out extensive diagnostics including:
* confirming stable power supply to the heater
* direct battery testing
* continuity checks
* checking the wiring loom and controller circuit
Despite this, the heater remains completely unresponsive.
What has been most disappointing is the aftersales support and communication. Responses regularly take several days, promised callbacks haven’t happened, and despite following all troubleshooting steps requested by Jackson Leisure via Eberspächer, I still have no clear resolution path.
I understand faults can happen with any product, but communication and follow-through are incredibly important when customers are trying to resolve an issue.
Updating my original review as things have improved considerably.
Raychel at Jacksons Leisure took ownership of the issue, apologised for the delays, arranged an authorised Eberspächer engineer quickly, and helped move things forward professionally.
The engineer visit was very helpful and the heater now appears to be functioning correctly, so I wanted to reflect that fairly in my review.
There were definitely communication issues at the start, which I’m told were due to teething problems with a new Zendesk system, but credit where it’s due — once things were picked up properly, the support and resolution were great.
