Salesperson came out
Salesperson came out, long story short got a price of 35,000 and if I signed today, it would be 30,000. No one day installation and labor is not free. It is a joke. As soon as I told him my son was a plumber, he left.
Jacuzzi bath remodel way over priced
Jacuzzi bath remodel way over priced. You can go to Home Depot and purchase top of the line equipment for around $3,500 and find a good qualified handiman for about $4,000 labor. You will have a beautiful walk-in shower for $7,500 in stead of $20,000 from Jacuzzi.
I wanted a simple questioned answered…
I wanted a simple questioned answered and made the mistake of offering my name, phone #.
After numerous calls from every Jacuzzi office in Massachusetts, and several texts. Never got my question answered. Instead I'm being pestered by numerous phone calls. For every number I block, another number shows up.
I've tried to make it clear through texts and the couple of calls I answered, that they need to stop this, I have no interest in allowing jacuzzi to do any work in my house.
Any company that pesters over and over seems like a desperate company.
LESS than 1 Star but not available.
LESS than 1 Star but not available.
I am in the process of having my Bathtub removed and a Walk-In Shower installed.
The first company I contacted was Jacuzzi because of their Ad running on TV now, promoting "Free Installation Included”
Having the Jacuzzi installation Rep show up, which was IN FACT Zintex who would be doing the actual installation was fine, at first. However soon after I told him I was NOT interested in using their Financing Program the ridiculous High Price of the $18,000.00 quote went up another $5,000.00 for no particular reason. Again, what really got me was the fact the current TV advertising for Jacuzzi was to include "Free Installation". I have NO clue where that “included”.
The original quote of $18,000.00 was TWICE the cost of One Other Bath Remodeling Company I had contacted for the EXACT same Bath Conversion.
If you REALLY want to "Get Hosed" for a Bath Conversion then by all means use Jacuzzi. Otherwise I STRONGLY recommend using a MORE reputable and FAR MORE honest company
Third party out if business
We looked into JBR late last year. Their service was through a 3rd party. The salesperson arrived, showed is their product and quoted a price just shy of $20K. We were given a week to decide on the job at that price.
We decided to go with local companies for the products and a local contractor. When I called the salesperson a couple of days later to let them know we weren’t going with JBR, she told me that the company went out of business that day and that she had been let go. She said, that she had many customers who paid cash down payments and were out of luck.
This seems to be a pattern based on other reviews. Funny that they don’t mention that in their commercials.
***WARNING****
***WARNING****
This company markets themselves as a company that cares about seniors, yet our elderly parents were charged tens of thousands of dollars more than multiple other independent contractors quoted for the same work. Despite repeated requests, they refuse to provide a meaningful breakdown of the costs.
To make matters worse, my father suffered a horrific injury after falling onto the metal shower door track installed as part of this project. He required over 20 stitches and faces a lengthy recovery.
Do yourself and your family a favour and get multiple quotes before signing anything with this company. Based on our experience, I would NEVER recommend them
Poor quality and WAY overpriced
Poor quality and WAY overpriced. Wanted $14,000 to do install. I had Menards do a new bathroom and the cost was $4,000. WTF. THis is a scam.
We called Jacuzzi for an install
We called Jacuzzi for an install. We received a call the next day from a company called NEWPRO, a subcontractor from Jacuzzi. Their salesman came to the house, showed us their product, and we agreed to a set up priced at $23,000 and gave a $7,500 deposit. After not hearing from Newpro , and not responding to our messages, we found out that they went out of business. Repeated messages to Jacuzzi were responded to by other sub contractors being used by Jacuzzi . Complaints have been filed with the Attorneys General in Ct. and Mass.
Poor quality install
Poor quality install. Cheap materials. They damaged our ceiling and floors. Opening not square. Shower valve leaking. Way overpriced. If I could afford to have redone, we would. Do not use this service. Look for a local contractor to do you shower. Would probably be cheaper.
Update
Update, Jacuzzi Bath Remodel, in my opinion , should be investigated by the FEDS, for FRAUD, most of what they promote is UNTRUE.. firstly they can’t do it in 1 day, rakes minimum 2 days, secondly the contractors are subs, most are horrible , causing damage to your walls & wiring & floors, thirdly the end product is NOT what you see in the pics.. they tried to screw me out of $9,800 I had out down & then CANCELLED when they NEVER SHOWED to remodel a bathroom . HATS OFF TO COSTCO, as this is where I saw Jacuzzi.
COSTCO investigated & sent me a beautiful check yesterday reimbursing me for all the $$$$ Jacuzzi STOLE from me.
THANK YOU COSTCO.
My parents paid for a $20000 shower…
My parents paid for a $20000 shower renovation. “Installed in as little as one day”… not even close.
First, the workers completely destroyed a wall that went into another room. Put a hole right through it. They also made a ton of giant gashes in cabinets and walls in the bathroom. When my mother called to ask when they would be coming to repair it, they said they wouldn’t be.
It’s now been almost 2 weeks, and their shower still has no glass door.
I wish they would have read all these reviews ahead of time.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
We found out about Jacuzzi from a sales…
We found out about Jacuzzi from a sales representative at Costco. When we had the sales appointment at our house we were guaranteed to get updates about our materials and project completion date, neither happened. After multiple tries to contact the company we settled on a project date. 2.5 months later. The morning of the jacuzzi employees showed up without a previous courtesy call or text. They worked for 2 hours and 45 minutes and left because "their van broke down". They never told us if they were returning the next day, or if at all to complete the project. We missed a full day of work. When we tried to reach out to the project manager no one was available and she never returned our calls. This is a 22K project. It is very disappointing. We still don't know what's going to happen. Do not recommend.
If you have a window in your shower…
If you have a window in your shower don't use jacuzzi. They will screw you, because they don't do windows and everyone they hire is a private contractor. Good luck with any follow up fixes. Not going to happen. Screw this company
The job was done in two days
The job was done in two days, which was fine and there was a little more work than normal. No problem there final product a little bit on the pricey side. Definitely have to wash it and keep it clean. My issue was the floor of the shower was separating from the concrete. It’s an irregular shape maybe a third of a flooring separated from the concrete. I contact Jacuzzi. They referred me out to somebody who took two months to get a hold of me who felt it was not an issue. Perhaps not seems to be structurally. OK I don’t think it’s leaking, but I just expected better from the job and from the follow up.
Good experience with Jacuzzi Bath
Yesterday we had an appointment to discuss a bathroom remodel for my elderly mother. I had the pleasure of working with Mark and Craig. Both gentlemen were very nice and professional. Mark did a great job of explaining the materials and process. Mark did work some magic and provided us with some discounts and special pricing for seniors. Unfortunately, it was still out of our ballpark.
They are Harassing me!!!!
This business has been straight up HARASSING ME! I was interested when I saw it online but in the meantime we had financial troubles and had to postpone doing any kind of project. They called multiple times in one day while I was at work. Then they have been calling me almost every day since. It has been a couple weeks. I even told them that I was no longer interested several times, but they still keep calling.
BE CAREFUL BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING ⚠️
Extremely frustrating experience. We were told that the financing had been approved and moved forward with the project. Later, I started receiving letters demanding payment of more than total amount even though the financing and property were not in my name. The situation has been confusing from the beginning, and I have not received a clear explanation despite contacting the company. I would strongly encourage anyone considering doing business with this company to carefully ask questions before signing anything.
It felt like their main goal was to get us to sign a contract as quickly as possible. In my opinion, people should be especially careful, particularly senior citizens who may be more vulnerable to confusing financing terms and sales pressure.
You have nothing to do with how water…
You have nothing to do with how water feels. God does.
Disappointed Missouri customer
I cannot recommend buying a jacuzzi tub for the following reasons: shabby parts (had to replace the panel / cover twice; panel delivered to my house was broken. First motor did not work. Had to order another motor. The jacuzzi repairman was older, shared he was ready to retire, & kept putting off repairs. It took 6 months before everything was resolved. NOT worth the cost!
Jacuzzi are harassing us and wont stop
Jacuzzi bath remodel was referred to us from Angis List website and so they started calling us to give us a quote and we told them we already finished the project and please stop calling but they literally call us at least 5 times a day from so far 36 different phone numbers and will not stop. and its been going on for a month now .. and if i tell them we already finished our bathroom project they just hang up on us and call back an hour later. and i guess there is nothing we can do . its at an harassment level and extremely unprofessional ..unbelievable !!
