Predatory company. Avoid at all costs
I haven’t used this card for a while cause 24% is extortionate. My credit rating is excellent these days and I got this card back when I was building it up, so had to take what I could get. These days I have far better rates so I use far superior providers. Today I received an email saying they are changing my rate due to current market conditions. They changed it to 39%. Tats right 39%!!!!! Insane increase. They have been bombarding me with (awful 14%) balance transfer offers ver the last few months. Thank god I wasn’t desperate and never gave it a second thought, cause if I’d of transferred a few grand into this and then been hit with this I would all Of a sudden it would of been very expensive. Do not use this card. This is disgusting behaviour. Hey at least they reminded me to close it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Avoid them if you value your credit file.
They started out good, then decided to close my account without any notice or informing me and also issued a default notice with no notice or even letting me know. Always paid on time, glad Captial One actually have good customer service.
