Renewed my license. Found out later that it had a autorenewal part. Was not aware. Was not mentioned explicitly on the "prices page". You need to read between the lines. Not good.
Anyway, the product is great. Using it for many years now.

Easy enough for me to make wonderful picture portfolios. Very fine desktop and mobile versions.
For me it's important, that this company is based in europe.

jAlbum allowed me to build a great looking website and its built in tool allows me to upload it to the server and quickly and easily make changes and additions (I add photos, videos and new captions for those daily). More than that, when I had some problems with the online version -- turns out that the server at the webhosting company was misconfigured, nothing on my or jAlbum end -- my question posed on the skin discussion board was answered quickly and that help continued through a number of steps until the exact issue was figured out and solved (and they even pointed to the coding changes that the host needed to do to their server to fix their misconfiguration). I'm thrilled!

Using this since 2017 to manage my entire photo collection. That's 2tb of photos as of 2025. So simple, flexible. Use it to group and tag more than export to web, but that's nice too when needed. And now with a LINUX version it is even better -- one less thing on W10. Don't need the web storage tho. Wish there was a licence to just get the many solftware updates & evolutions.

Jalbum is simply the best sw i use.
Simple, fast, not expensive, good support…. And works flawlessly

Very good album making program - from unexperienced to experienced users, good support and helpful staff, no matter where you publish - jAlbum servers or your own site, commercial or not jAlbum is very strong contender for a good result!

The generated output is quite nice, in fact the only one I can stand, thanks to the so-many themes, you should find your happiness.
My favourite theme is Chameleon, but, unfortunately, it is not longer supported and the new ones supposed to replace it do not satisfy my aesthetics. Still, it works!

But, I dislike the whole "gas factory" presentation of JAlbum. Options everywhere, spent hours exploring all menus to set up simple favourites.
The packaging is multiplatforms, which is a plus, but be sure to get the one with java bundled in. JAlbum does not cope very well with system Java on all systems I've tested, you get weird stuff in generated output (at least with Chameleon).

Been running with Album for 20+ years and it is fantastic. Does just what I need in terms of posting up sports photos for player and family to download. It is how I get photos to those who want them.

I have been using jAlbum for quite a number of years and am still very enthusiastic at the way the software and skins are constantly developing and offering new options for me to use.

I like your software and the skins (using Tiger most of the time). The user interface on iPad or iPhone is not at all satisfactory. Most people use phones now. Please work on this! (I agree, that iphones are not the best way to look at photos, but it is a fact, that people use it…

jAlbum has a lot of great capabilities and was especially useful to create a local website.

Renewing my subscription was simple and straightforward, it was automatic.

JAlbum is great to use, there are so many skins to choose from to customise your album. My favourite being Journal Skin, automatic updates to both the App and the skins make life easy. Thank you JAbum and to all the Skin writers.
