jAlbum is a real special piece of software. I have used it for years. If you want to present your photos in a beautiful and personal way, there is no better tool for it. And believe me; I have tried quite a few!
I have tried several album solutions in my website-builder but by that I have wasted my time and continued using jAlbum.
The fact that you can choose between different skins means that there is a design for your own taste. And for everyone's knowledge or skill. Because some skins require a little more skills from you than others. By that I mean that the learning curve can be some steep but it can also be as easy as you want. Depending on which skin you choose and how deeply you want to customize it. Some skins have options so you can actually make a complete website.
I'm also fond of how most of the lightboxes work; your photos comes in a smooth mix of fading and sliding.
Their support is also splendid compared to other paid solutions. As a paying customer (not expensive) you get quick replies and help.

The best way to compile your photos to find them easily to show specific moments in an easy way.

Updated program to allow us to continue to maintain our images used on our website. Also allows us to try new features and designs for displaying our images.

Hello, I´m using jalbum since many years, and was very satisfied. But this year I started to have many problems. First, it doesn´t allow to open the albums -on my homepage- with the address like : a/2149275.
It caused me lots of work, as I used to integrate it on my homepage. So have had to change each single album name on my homepage. Second: Searching per name doesn´t work properly. Third - by clicking on "Back" button it doesn´t go back to the last used page but to the very first. Otherwise - as I said, I use jalbum since many years and was satisfied.

37.7.3: The possibilities are astonishing, but uploading just one picture is relatively big because all related pages and files are reorganized. Uploads often get interrupted and have to be repeated, but it's not because of my fast and stable internet connection. MP4 files are not shown in the "Images taken in the past ... hours/days" listing. The settings options are a bit confusing, but they have a search function. The standard license is only valid for one year; after that, updates are not possible. Renewal is too expensive.

I've been using jAlbum for years to store my joker collection! It's fantastic, loads of viewers...Super!

Overall very good but using it on iOS or iPadOS ist a bit of a pain. Other than that it looks great. Getting the site protected with a password on a own webspace is not easy, too. At least i struggled, so it might be on my side but

I keep contrôle over my pictural. Easy to handle. Lots of options to adapt présentation. Quick customer support and regular updates.

One of the best (maybe the only) programmes for this type of presentation. Takes a bit of getting used to finding all the different settings,fonts etc. and title bar configuration but not impossible. Part of the fun really as project settings can be saved and reloaded if things don't go right.There is no monthly subscription which is a real bonus.
