I had difficulty with the website when placing my order so I phoned the company. The customer service was absolutely first-class and my order together with the engraving instructions was taken down perfectly and without any fuss. My order arrived within 2 weeks (I was advised that it would probably take at least 21 days), the engraving is perfect. Very happy with the service and will definitely use the company again for special items.

As a company we recently ordered a personalised clock for a colleague that was retiring.
Wow - the clock is of lovely quality and the engraving just finishes it off perfectly.
I had a few conversations with customer services (Joanne) who was so helpful and always replied immediately, she also managed to get the gift to us in plenty of time.
We would not hesitate to use this company again and would recommend to everyone.

I messed up one of the items on my online order, called them and they agreed to change the order (to something that was actually more expensive) for free! Great service.

This company is excellent. An order which they sent for me to Belgium was lost by the French Postal Service. Many firms would have washed their hands at this point because they were not at fault. James Pirie replaced the full order and arranged the delivery at no extra cost and with no demur. I am inordinately grateful to them for their efficiency, excellent customer service and generosity.

This is an excellent Company to purchase from. I ordered a Caithness paper weight for a 40th wedding anniversary gift. I requested next day delivery. I was advised of an hour slot when I would receive the gift and sure enough it was delivered as confirmed. It was very well packaged. The service was excellent from start to finish. I recently ordered some engraved whiskey glasses to be sent as a seventieth birthday present. The order process, from beginning to end, was impeccable in every respect. The glasses themselves are beautiful and it is obvious that the recipient is absolutely delighted with his gift. A big thank you to all those involved.

An excellent customer service experience from James Pirie. I order a retirement decanter I needed in a hurry, and had to go back and change the inscription. Nothing was a problem for them, and I was delighted to receive the beautiful decanter in time. Would highly recommend.

I purchased 2 Large 'Diamonds' tumblers to enjoy my various G&T's in. They are exceptional quality and the whole process of buying and receiving the goods from start to finish was exceptional. These people really know their crystal and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. Thank you.

Absolutely delighted with my purchase and the service received from JamesPirie.com. I placed an order at 4pm last night and my order was delivered via DPD this morning at 11am!! Everything was wrapped and packaged perfectly. I cannot fault this company and would highly recommend.

Poor quality goods and service. Ordered from James Pirie in order to support an independent company and avoid buying everything from Amazon!

After ordering, I had no confirmation email of my order, and had to email them twice to confirm they had received my order. No email sent when item despatched. Whiskey tumblers were not as expected and seemed poor quality, therefore wished to return. Again, had to email twice to get any response from Jame Pirie. In fairness, responses were always polite and I received refund promptly, although an email confirming they received my return and had processed my refund would have been nice.

Overall, poor communication and customer service, unfortunately won't be buying from James Pirie again.

Unhappy. Rubbish quality products at over inflated prices. Misleading wording in product title descriptions. Tip - if you think your buying 'copper' goods from the site - make sure you read the small print as your paying astronomical prices for 'copper effect' products. The products are aluminium with a copper colour sprayed on top. I just paid £35 for a 'copper effect' bowl when I could have got the same thing from Wilko for £5.product description does not tell you it's 'copper' effect unless you look for it.

Ok, so I came onto the site looking from some crystalware and ended up buying a few decanters and whisky tot glasses as well as a few miniature figurines.

Ordered around 10 in the morning and received an e-mail later that day that my order has been despatched. Received my order the next day by Fedex. All in all, very happy with purchase. Also it was well packed, so nothing arrived broken.

Didn't need to contact customer service, so can't say much on that.
