UNFAIR POLICIES: Zero flexibility for immediate booking errors

I am extremely disappointed with the management of Jardin Majorelle regarding a booking error. I purchased tickets and realized within minutes that the date was incorrect. I contacted customer service immediately to request a refund or a reasonable solution, demonstrating total good faith.

Despite my prompt communication (sent almost instantly after the transaction), they refused a refund, hiding behind rigid Terms & Conditions. More absurdly, they offered a "gesture of goodwill" by allowing a date change, fully knowing I am an international traveler and would no longer be in Marrakech on those dates. Offering a "solution" that is objectively impossible to use is not goodwill; it is a mockery of consumer rights.

In a modern tourism industry, refusing a refund for a mistake reported within minutes—where no service was provided and no loss was incurred by the venue—is a predatory and unfair business practice.

PRO TIP FOR TRAVELERS: Be extremely careful. If you make a typo or a clicking error, this establishment will keep your money regardless of how fast you report it. There are many other beautiful spots in Marrakech with much more professional and ethical customer service.

Scam

Scam. Bought tickets in advance. Exhibition was closed. Will not refund. Avoid at all costs. I thought something like this wouldn't be a part of the scams but it is. Nothing to see but an overpriced book shop. Exhibition closed down

A Disgraceful and Racist Experience at Jardin Majorelle

Despite the beauty of the gardens, my visit to Jardin Majorelle was completely overshadowed by a horrifying encounter with the security staff. One of the guards directed blatantly racist comments at me, an act that was not only deeply offensive but entirely unacceptable in any setting—let alone a world-renowned cultural site.

This was not just a case of poor customer service; it was an open display of prejudice that left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome. The garden’s reputation as a place of inspiration and inclusivity is utterly tarnished by allowing such behavior to occur.

Management must take immediate action to address these deeply ingrained issues, hold those responsible accountable, and implement training to prevent such disgraceful incidents in the future. Until meaningful changes are made, I strongly urge others to reconsider supporting a site that tolerates such blatant racism. What should have been a peaceful and enriching experience became one of the most upsetting moments of my travels.

Complete rip-off!

Complete rip-off!

The gardens are indeed, very beautiful, but very small. For the considerably less money you can see the equally, beautiful gardens of the Jardin Secret or you can go to one of the many beautiful parks and gardens that are carefully curated by the city and are completely free to get in. For example, crypto park. Which, despite its name is utterly delightful.

The number of tourists allowed on each visit detracts from the experience.

I paid not only for a visit to the gardens but also to the museum. I was the last visit of the day at 4 pm, but was not told that I had to be at the Museum door before 4:30 pm. There was a huge group of Spanish tourists who not only blocked pathways slowing down the flow around the gardens but also took up the museum visit allocation of 30 people.

At 4:30 pm. I was at the museum door but was told there were no more visits that day. I didn't get a refund or even an apology! I contacted the director by telephone,as advised to do so by the workers. Despite kindly and politely explaining my disappointment and requesting a refund they put the phone down on me.

My recommendation is save your money and go to one of your alternatives
