Great experience at Jared's
My experience with Jared's was wonderful! From the moment I walked into the store I was greeted and welcomed by my Salesperson Vickie Sellers she listened to what I wanted, which was to add to my wedding ring two enhancers with Sapphires that had the right curves to fit my wedding ring. After not finding anything in the display she pulled out the catalog and showed me what she thought would pair up perfectly.
She said she could order it and have it in the store in 4 days, and I would not have to commit to buying anything if they did not work out. Well, the enhancer rings fit perfectly, and I even got a sale discount! I'm very happy with my ring now and even get compliments. I would shop at Jared's again! Please ask for Vickie Sellers you won't be disappointed !
Want my broken ring back 3 months in the making
Since Jan 11th 2025 we have been dealing with incompetence people at the Westminster gallery. Bought an opal ring which the opal fell off and was lost. Sent in for repair. They could not repair but said for 486.00 they would replace. In February they sent a ring to gallery that was not of good quality as my ring, have pictures of the stone, and the store mgmt stated in email we had option to return for another one in which we choose to do. Never was called to see a new ring, it was never sent. Fast forward to April 7th, 2025 We chose to have my broken ring returned to me after over 3 months of taking documentation and emails they sent, we were told it could not be returned without corporate approval. Then we were told the repair shop was working on it, which I informed them I have an email stating it could not be repaired but replaced for an additional 486.00. Now I can’t get my broken ring I purchased for over 1300.00 back? I own this ring! The lies and deceit are overwhelming! I could have bought a stone and had a jeweler fix it yet because it was purchased at Jared we thought it was wise to go there. I’m out 1300.00+ and am fighting Jared to get my broken ring back. Any suggestions this has been a nightmare! What is so upsetting is that these managers call with a downright lie and expect you to believe it. They aren’t sure what to do when I read an email sent to us that was sent by their gallery. Very concerning.
Turning my finger black
My ring, $1000 on sale, is gorgeous . It sparkles like crazy. However. It is periodically turning my finger black. I contacted customer service who responded that yes, (per the listing) my ring is 14k gold. This was their only response. My 14k gold ring from James Allen is NOT turning my finger black. I guess I will take it to a local reputable
jeweler to have it verified as 14k gold or not actually.

I bought an aquamarine ring for myself on Black Friday because it was a really good deal. Was pretty disappointed when I received it to find a sticker still on the ring that said made in china. Very very disappointed. Will not buy from there again
Worst jewelry, overpriced, and overrated!
Worst jewelry ever!! I’ve purchased a number of items from Jared Jewelers, thinking that this jewelry would keep its value over time. Welp, I was completely wrong! This jewelry is overpriced, overrated, and not the best quality of diamonds whatsoever. Most of it’s jewelry is plated and has or holds no value whatsoever. I am beyond disappointed after spending 15k-25k and the jewelry is basically worthless. .10 on every dollar is what I’ve spent which is actually pennies. I thought maybe these pieces would be worth passing down to my granddaughter instead they’re better off in the garbage. If you are ever in the neighborhood to get quality jewelry whereas, you want quality value jewelry go somewhere else and research items first before you spend a dime with Jareds. Never again!
A new Warranty from Levain that I never received notifications on until I need to get a repair
I purchased a Levain ring from Jared’s at Bay Brook Mall area on 10/26/2015. The ring is beautiful and I only wear it when I go somewhere. I do not where it to concerts though. I was told when I purchased this ring that it had a lifetime warranty. I have been going Jared’s since August 2013 with my husband and my husband was going there before that.
When my husband purchased my ring from Jared.s with a warranty and I have purchased other Jewelry from Jared’s with a warranty. I always get my rings checked out and cleaned at Jared’s for the warranty. Went in before Christmas to Jared’s at Baybrook mall area and purchased a Shy creation necklace and purchased the warranty as well. While I was looking around before I purchased the necklace Elvis checked and cleaned my rings and asked me if I wanted it to be in the report as cleaned and I said, yes. One of them was the LeVain ring. That’s a question that should not have to because asked they should already go in the report when your ring is cleaned and checked out. On January 24th I noticed a diamond was missing from my beautiful Levain ring and I took it in on Saturday, January 25th to get it checked with my others rings I had on from Jared’s and I left it there to be repaired. Gwen, the manager told me before I left it there that Levain is supposed to have another warranty and I said LeVain has a lifetime warranty and that’s what they told me when it was purchased but she had said just recently LeVain wanted another warranty on their rings and it’s the first I have ever heard of this. I am in Jared’s all the time get get my rings and other jewelry for the warranty and I have an email address and text messages and phone number and each time had gone into Jared’s for anything I was never told about the new warranty they wanted for Levain, so I did mention that to Gwen, the manager, and she said we can do the repair here. At that time also she said she tried to ring up a warranty and it would not let it happen, not sure what the problem was there!!! My ring was left there and she said their Jeweler could fix it and the would have a small LeVain vanilla diamond to put in it so I left it there. Monday morning I called there and she says, it has to go into LeVain for repair and it will take 12 weeks to get back to her store at Jared’s. Like I mentioned before I have warranties on all my other Jewelry, and it’s a new warranty came out that LeVain wanted this extra warranty, I should have been notified by, LeVain, Jared’s or by someone at Jared’s when I went into Jared’s to get my jewelry checked out and cleaned, or emailed about it or texted about it or something sent in the mail. Instead of telling at the time when I need a repair!!! At this time I do get texts on my phone by Jared’s and I do get tons of email from Jared’s. So why couldn’t they send me a notification for the new warranty the LeVain wanted like they send me other notifications for other things. I will not be purchasing at Jared’s anymore!!!

Awful experience with customer service
Awful experience with customer service. They have two listings for a ring that I was interested in. One listing is for the ring on clearance but currently out of stock. The other listing is the ring in preowned condition that is priced almost 1k higher than the new piece on clearance. I reached out to customer service to have it at least price matched to the new piece price even though it should be priced lower than the new piece since preowned. They refused to price match their own items/listings. Also interestingly both items show a different original retail value even though it’s the same exact item same gold, same diamond content etc. everything is really fishy about this place.
Avoid the online site if you can
I want to preface this by saying I have had very positive experiences at the Jared store by my home in Maine. However, Jared’s online site may be one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. And I have tried to not rush to judgement but the problems have been persistent and I think I’m done trying to use it. I have had 2 experiences now purchasing rings where money has been taken and then a week or more later I have been notified that that ring is not in stock and a refund is being issued. One was a Christmas present that indicated it would arrive before Christmas. This is really not acceptable. Currently on the site, there are numerous items listed for sale and after you select size and put the item in your cart and go to payment it kicks it out of the cart and says it’s not available. Who is maintaining the website and inventory? Some items mentioned have had this situation for weeks. Why? And then when you don’t purchase, Jared sends an email offering $25 off what you left in your cart. You get your hopes up and go on the site again only to discover that it’s a lie and it’s still not available. Save yourself the stress and shop at a local retailer or another company.
Tod was wonderful
Tod was wonderful, knowledgeable, and very honest and kind. He took his time with us and answered all our questions. He is a wealth of information and we felt very comfortable and confident in following his recommendations and advice. We have been married almost 40 years and needed our cherished wedding rings resized. He treated them like the sentimental treasures they are to us. Thank you so much. We highly recommend this store, especially Tod.
Christmas issues
Ordered a gift for Christmas and when it arrived it was someone else’s name and order. Jared put it off upon second call claimed nothing had been documented properly and redid it. Said it could be 7 days before hearing. Several days later we reached out again and finally after a few got an email to return it to a store and get a refund.
Seriously, you made the gift for my wife problematic and she didn’t get anything for Xmas. You should have shipped the proper item immediately!!!! We were told you’d have to contact the other person and presumably get back the wrong one (ours) that was sent to them. Give me a break! Horrible service and will NEVER recommend or shop there again!
Rip off!!!
Rip off!!!! I bought my center stone separate and a 10k setting from Jared. They used my stone and set it in their ring (setting). I purchased the plan to have the ring cleaned and tightened so it doesn’t fall out (warranty). Well the 13k stone fell out and oh they don’t warranty the diamond because it wasn’t bought from them. They didn’t tell me that when i bought the plan. What a rip off now im out a 13k stone that is 16 to buy now wtf?!?!? I am in the process of finding a lawyer to sue…

I’m way overdue in voicing my complaint. Many years ago, my Mother’s wedding ring was stolen. Her insurance required a replacement, which was done by Jared’s, with a beautiful ring, valued at over $13,000. She never wore the ring because “it was not the ring my father had given her”. I kept it in my safe for 3 years. I finally took it out to wear to my nephew’s wedding. At the reception, someone called out “where is the stone in your ring “! It was never found, never worn until that day, and Jared’s would do nothing to help me. When I said I might get a lawyer, I was threatened to be removed from the store!

Purchased a necklace for Christmas…
Purchased a necklace for Christmas for my son. When I checked on delivery status was informed was delivered already..to the wrong address. Was told they would need to do a trace on the item, even though ups took a picture of where it was delivered and I confirmed it was not my address. I am being told I will have to wait another 14-16 business days before anything can be done. That's weeks after Christmas,
Paid more expensive piece, sent smaller and never changed price
Jared received my return and changed the reason that I wrote of scam, to “I changed my mind”…deceitful company
Please understand, the return was not because I changed my mind as stated on my return, that changed from what I sent on the return.
It was returned because it is not what I ordered. I purchased a “Shy Creations” pave heart diamond necklace 1/10 ct. I did not receive it, I received a smaller 1.5 ct.
Through much work and time calling ( which doesn’t exist) emailing,( which also does not exist) I’ve learned with customer service and numerous stores I called, they have been out of stock. Completely!
Instead of communicating this, someone took it upon themselves to send the SMALLER 1/5 ct, and less expensive piece for the SAME PRICE. $
This was the first time I have dealt with this company, when I brought this to the attention of a customer service rep (through texts not a phone call, as explained to me, “that’s not an option”.
Numerous unprofessional steps throughout this entire process.
I truly feel that I was scammed, and no one cared. Nothing offered to make it right, no care to take responsibility for this experience.
Just an email (no-reply one) with a return label.

My daughter added a diamond necklace to her wish list and was quoted a price. A few days later (less than a week) I went in to purchase it. The price they quoted was on the screen. When I was ready to pay for it the price was almost double. After many trips back and forth to the manager (I felt like I was buying a car) I was told they would not honor the quoted price. Very shady outfit would never go there again. They spent more time trying to sell me warranty’s and stuffed animals than the necklace I was trying to buy. Needless to say I left empty handed
Don't Order Engraved Items from Jared Online!
I ordered a pendant engraved with my kids names, and it came back with the names out of order and missing a name. I contacted customer service and they provided me with a discount code to place the order again. I returned the item and reordered the pendant. Received the replacement today and it was the same error, missing names and in incorrect order. Reached out to customer service and they were not helpful at all this time! I will NEVER order from Jared online again!
