Poor service, such a shame

I emailed them in Sept 2016, they accepted my RMA, gave me the RMA number and asked me to post it in. I did so, and then never sent a replacement. Months of chasing getting told 'shipping delays', then low stock, then it should be dispatched next week. Was told how customer service and warehouse are disconnected and don't talk, but it should be dispatched soon. Load of nonsense. Never got my UP3 back. Every so often I still email asking for an update, never got a reply after Nov. Terrible service.

What a shame

My husband and I have had a range of UP bands over the past 3 years, which we really liked for both the app and band design. The bands only ever lasted 6 - 8 months, but until recently there was never a problem getting a replacement under the one year warranty and customer service was always very good. Unfortunately, my latest band has split right through (after 7 months) and this time despite 3 weeks of trying I have been completely unable to reach any customer support. So I guess that's it for our relationship with UP, and time to find a new brand...

What a Joke!

I have been waiting on a replacement since October. Now Customer service is not available and havent been since October, no replacement ever shipped and no one has responded to the several emails that I have sent. I am at a loss, absolutely exhausting! This would have been my third band of this style due to the band breaking in the exact same spot every time. Sure would have been nice to have some follow up from them, especially since my warranty is good until February. What a waste of money and time dealing with this company!

Non existent service in the UK

So disappointed in Jawbone. Are they still in business? No more UK customer service and no response to emails. My Up band has broken AGAIN and I hold no hope in getting in replaced. If they have no intention in responding or dealing with their customers then they should make an announcement to state this

Zero customer service

My UP3 has never synced with my phone unless it's connected to a charger. Absolutely no response from their customer service. They don't even have a phone support in the UK.
Wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing one of their products.. I expect that the rumours of them going out of business are true.

No Customer Service

In January 2016 I had an issue with my UP24. I reached out to customer service and on 1/6/16 a replacement UP2 was shipped to me. Due to health issues I had to stop using my UP2 for some time. Now that I'm able to use the device again it will not hold a charge. I've reached out to customer service on 1/2/16 and 1/6/16 via the web form. I've also sent tweets to Jawbone support and attempted multiple calls to customer service. No one replies to the web form or twitter and the phone lines are supposedly "busy" and advise to call again later.

Last year the customer service was awesome and made me love the company. This year they are severely lacking and should make anyone think twice about purchasing a device.

Appalling Service

Strap on my Up2 is broken, emailed them 3 months ago - had a reply eventually, but now... nothing. Customer service is non-existent!

It's such a shame as I loved this product and want to keep using it!

The toughest pill to swallow is they are clearly still in operation as they are still updating their social media - you would be better off using your time to fix the problems you have in your service department, not continue promoting a failing company!

Would be surprised if they are still around in 6 months

This company has had a series of issues from delaying the launch of the UP3 by many months to a poor design that results in a broken band, to non-existent customer support and significant inventory. It's clear this company is terribly managed at the top and I don't see any VC investor handing another penny to CEO to continue. Do not buy a product from this company!

It indeed looks like Jawbone is having a big problem.

In September 2016 Jawbone kindly replaced my Up3 because the strap had spontaneously broken in two pieces after wearing it for only 5 months. I complimented them on their rapid and uncomplicated customer service.

On the 22nd of december I noticed, to my great regret, that this new tracker is showing exactly the same symptoms! It is not broken yet, but the first crack is there at the exact the same spot as before. I taped it right away, hoping it will still hold for a while. I repeatedly emailed the support team, attaching pictures of the cracked device, but there was no response.

I'm sure the company is having problems, because the trackers are now dumped on the market for half the original price.
What a pity and what a shame not to inform former enthousiastic clients about the unfortunate situation.

No response from jawbone support

Contacted support in October, after 2 emails to them got a response asking for more information. I provided this by return and despite sending repeated emails asking them to respond, have received nothing. This is the second UP2 as previous strap broke, same thing happened with replacement. Appalling lack of service

Looks like they are going to close

Same as colin. I have had my UP3 band replaced before, and now my fiancé band is broken and after initial email response in November, no reply at all to anything. Disgusting. Looks like i will be going to FitBit after all, and now I'm out of pocket.

Went with jawbone originally for the superior sleep tracking and small unit that is comfortable to sleep with

Again tried emailing today. Definitely won't be recommending anymore to anybody. I really recommended them to everyone.

Where has Jawbone Support gone

I've got my 3rd UP3 and the strap has broken, again. Previously they've replaced it quickly but now I get no response and the UK phone line says they no longer support over the phone in the UK and Europe.

The product is obviously not fit for purpose, and so too it seems their support!

Such a shame ...

... like all the other reviewers mine broke, logged a call - gave them the information they asked for and then nothing for 2 months and counting - tried to call, social media and emails but nothing - all very strange - lets hope they can rectify their service and honour their product's warranty.

Customer Service non existent

Purchased my 1st UP3 last Feb and in June the strap broke. In fairness, they replaced it in a couple of weeks. Now, the replacement has snapped in exactly the same place. Can i get an answer from them ?, no I can't. 3 emails later and although they have issued a case number, no one can be bothered to let me know how things are progressing. I think they are just waiting for me to give up. Well they have a long wait..................

Unbelievable. I do not understand that right after the holidays the company would decide that they would do away with phone support. Not going to buy a jawbone product ever again

Heartbroken

I think I was one of the jawbone first family members. I bought them for a number of my friends and family. The lack of response since December is so frustrating. I love the sleep monitoring and so much about this app but they turned me away and I get no respect for being a loyal customer. Just respond in truth

OK products. But, support is very, very, very slow.

Update: I have jumped ship and purchased a Fitbit Charge 2. Superior gizmo to the Jawbone. More capable, easier input, great app. Jawbone's very show support response is why.

Original review: No phone support and, if you fill out their online support form, it takes weeks and weeks to hear back. I've written three times about the band on my Up3 cracking (the buckle even fell off) over the last 3+ weeks and have yet to get a response other than "we have your request." Really bad customer support.

UPDATE: No satisfaction from Jawbone, so a few weeks ago I bought a Fitbit and couldn't be happier.
