That was a truly stress-free transaction. The website is so simple for the user; there is even a little map on the 'Thanks for your Order' page, that shows where your order will be delivered to.

If you could give 6 stars, that's what I'd be doing now.
Zips. Such a complete range AND availability. That's important - other zip sellers often don't actually have the zip type/length/colour in stock and ready to post … but Jaycotts have never let us down AND they ship instantly. Really, if I need a zip tomorrow, and we're talking quality zips here, provided I put my order in at a sensible time, it arrives the very next morning! Really can't fault that. So SIX STARS to the lovely team there.

What great customer service, quick response to my emails assisting me in sourcing a birthday present for my wife. Item arrived very quickly and very well packaged. Definitely would recommend and will be my first port of call in future

I ordered some zips as replacements for fleeces and jackets. The website was straightforward to follow. I received timely emails. They arrived in a couple of days. They were packed well in a cardboard envelope with a delivery docket enclosed. The type, size and colour were exactly as I ordered. The quality was good. Perfect. Yes, I would use them again.

Brilliant company. My late Mum always bought from them. So when my machine had problems I got in touch with them for help.
Right from the start they were so helpful and friendly. I took my machine in and as promised had a call when it was ready for collection.
I will certainly contact them again. The Chester showroom is a treasure trove of machines, patterns and sewing aids. Fabulous! Very happy to recommend.

I absolutely love this company. I order patterns from them all the time, very easy web site and payment page. My patterns arrive within 24/48 hrs on average. They email me with updates....what more could you ask for. 5 star company that others could learn from.

Excellent service. I ordered 4 items for my wife, for Christmas. Delivered AM Tuesday, no issues at all. The items all appear to be of good quality, my wife researches things she wants so i know she will have looked into these closely.

Fantastic service! The machine I wanted was out of stock so they rang and offered an alternative at the same price. My machine was delivered the following day. No fuss. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Delighted to recommend them and will use them again myself.

Having looked online at various suppliers, I decided to call into Jaycotts of Chester. What a lovely team!

I found them to be extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Unlike other places I've visited in the past, it wasn't about getting as much money out of me as possible and onto the next person, they were genuinely more interested in my getting the right machine for me, and all machines were made available for me to try.

I was invited to National Sewing Day at their shop. All the machines were available to try, there were classes where you could make things - even children, there were refreshments available, and each person who came through the door was given a free goody bag with lots of useful sewing bits and bobs - felt, zips, cotton, ribbon and snippers etc. Staff were on hand to show you how the machines worked, and to provide information etc. It was well worth the visit.

Having still not decided what machine to have, I was then invited to another day where a Brother specialist was on site to provide training and information for some of the machines - thanks for the coffee's John :)

I think I've decided now, and I'm told that should I need it, someone will bring the machine, set it up, and go through how it works How is that for service?

Excellent place online to get sewing supplies. I ordered online on a Friday at 8pm and received my package Tuesday morning so am very happy with that. Very fair postage costs and happy with the prices of their products. The website is very easy to navigate. I will definitely order from them again.

After a lot of research and a visit to Jaycotts Sewing Supplies I was still undecided as to which sewing machine to buy. I went back to Jaycotts and again tested various machines, including the one I was specifically interested in. John set it up for me in the shop and pointed out lots of features and points which might help me make a decision.
They could not do enough for me - knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I eventually decided and bought my new machine , at an excellent price, and I am delighted with it.
I can not recommend this company highly enough. Thank you for your help and advise, which saved me making a terrible choice by going with another rogue company.

I purchased a new sewing machine from this company, I visited the shop in Chester and found them knowledgeable and helpful. They had an excellent range of machines on display and the lady was happy to spend time going through everything and making comparisons.
