I read the NY times article about the kuntz spoon and figured it was worth a try...used it for the first time last night and I'm so happy I did! it was perfect for basting my fish steaks with marinade, which i usually do with a soup spoon, and it made a huge difference. if you cook a lot it's definitely worth it.

The spoon seems really cool. Bigger than any spoon in my drawer and very handy. The handle is short and I’m still getting used to it.

These spoons are fantastically good!! UPDATE: The Kunz Spoons continue to amaze me. There's "just something about them". The angle of the bowl to the handle, superbly finished edges, shape of the bowl to spoon up 'gravy/drippings/au jus and spoon it back over the dish, length of the handles - whatcha cooking/what kind of cookware/what kind of heat. As is said, "The whole being greater than the sum of its parts", good ole Aristotle. Buy these spoons and you're ........... buying magic, buying the Northern Lights, buying the reason candy wrappers make a noisy crinkle, being lucky enough to see a beautiful sunrise..... and it's green flash, buying GREAT SPOONS. These spoons are actually pretty darn cheap for all this.
