I was looking for a tax atty. to help me clean up 12 yrs of 'unfilled' taxes with the IRS, and state of ca. . i read too many reviews for a few different companies and decided to call J. David Tax Law, and spoke with Kevin Leiran. He put a plan together and he executed the plan just as he stated. Kevin is a good communicate, he is talented, and he is easy to work with (i thought the bill might reach $200K, but i ended up paying a bit more than half, and he (somehow) was able to get me refunds on the interest, fee's, and penalties! i highly recommend Kevin Leiran, and J. David Tax Law 'bravo' m. hudson/norco ca.

Erin was the utmost professional. Her team was attentive to my needs. I never felts as if I was a bother. She provided information that was easy to understand. Her guidance and support during this IRS process could not have been more comforting and on point. Erin was always available to answer my questions. She has an abundance of knowledge and always checked for understanding. I would not hesitate to seek her out again.

There should be more than 5 stars for my team at J. David Law as I would put 10 stars! Mollie (and Mandie) have been so great at keeping me informed and up to date as my IRS proceedings move along. They were both educational, straight-forward and helped relieve the stress of trying to deal with the IRS. They handled everything, superbly.

More importantly, when all the dust had settled, they were able to remove more than $90,000 owed. For the small amount of money I paid to retain services, I could not be more thrilled. The team was very communicative with us through our challenge. We received updates from them even when there weren’t any! Talked with us-rather than AT us at each stage of their process.

Had to enlist J.David's service when the IRS sent me scary letters. I knew there was a mistake somewhere in the process, and I needed help sorting it out. As it turned out, a previous employer had filed two W2s in one year, triggering an audit. The lawyers at J.David not only got this sorted out for me, but helped me get reimbursed for the error made by the former employer's accountant.

I’m giving J. David Tax Law a five-star review because they ultimately delivered excellent results, but I did notice room for improvement in their internal communication. Over time, I had to revisit and review details I’d already mentioned to ensure accuracy—otherwise, I could have faced significantly higher taxes. While it’s always wise to double-check tax matters yourself, it was frustrating that information I shared with one person didn’t always reach the tax preparer, leaving me to catch potential oversights.
That said, their strengths far outweigh this issue. The team quickly brought in experts when needed, and Mandie was an absolute standout—super friendly, proactive with follow-ups, and diligent in ensuring my needs were met, even giving me a nudge when I needed to act. They handled complex tax challenges with confidence and expertise, and the detailed return they prepared left me feeling secure. Pricing was fair for the value provided. Overall, a great experience despite the communication hiccups—highly recommend!
