I arrived in the evening about 8pm hungry and thirsty for food and drink at the Poyton Wetherspoons. The fish and chips arrived thoughly unappealling. What was worse, the sprat sized piece of fish, or... See more

Unacceptable food
I ordered a Korean fried chicken with chips and drink around 10:30 pm for table 44. It was around 10:50 pm I asked how long does take my food? The chef leader said we didn’t find your table but I was all the time in my table 44. They bring my food which was very cold and greasy, I asked them to change as it wasn’t acceptable, the chef leader insisted of apologies she said we can’t change it you can refund your money, it’s wasn’t acceptable for me and I asked for my food. They bring my food around 11:10pm but it wasn’t what I had every week I ordered. I am a regular customer to this pub .

Harlow Wetherspoons did not have my Mediterranean salad, other salads were not what I wanted, and weren't real salads anyway. So just had a coffee, which was stone cold. I was told it came from a machine...yuk. My friend had scrambled egg on toast. The toast was burnt and the egg was cold. Her coffee ws also cold. not our idea of a decent restaurant, Won't be going again,
'Afternoon Deal' misselling
This company are misselling their 'Afternoon Deal' meals from 2pm to 5pm monday to friday as some of these meals are higher priced that the same meal in the main menu. It must be catching out more than a few unsuspecting customers who chooae to eat there in these times.
Weatherspoons in portishead food all…
Weatherspoons in portishead food all reheated absolutely tasteless everything is microwaved nothing is fresh .
Hot chocolate.
Usually enjoy the food, which me and a friend go every Wednesday.but now the nanny state has stopped refills on hot chocolate, my friend doesn't drink tea or coffee..and is only allowed one hot chocolate drink via a sachet provided from behind the bar..I asked if my friend can get another refill same as tea and coffee as it states on the menu tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are refillable but was told he has to pay for each sachet..just making customers aware..

Appalling service
Went to the Hedley Verity Wetherspoons. Waited half an hour for drinks which never showed up, had to go to the bar and get them ourselves. An hour after ordering was told they couldn’t make my pizza so switched it to a jacket potato. After an hour and half this still hadn’t turned up and after asking we were told it hadn’t even been made. Have been told I am getting a refund so fingers crossed!

Rude staff and management Back of beyond Reading
The beer is great BUT ............
The beer is great BUT they keep it very cold in the pub. One guy had his jumper, top coat, scarf and hood on! Lots of people huddled around the open fire, but not enough room for all of us. The Lord Derby, nearby, was a lot warmer and the beer not much more expensive if you have your camra card which wetherspoons don't take. See you in the summer guys, perhaps!
Lorna at The Thomas Lloyd in Warwick…
Lorna at The Thomas Lloyd in Warwick was brilliant. A great hostess, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was as expected from a Wetherspoons and nut free which is great for allergies.

A very pleasant visit was had yesterday…
A very pleasant visit was had yesterday at the new Wetherspoon's in Basildon. It is ideally located (next to the cinema and other restaurants) making it feel safer to visit this area of the town during the evening as it is busy and nicely lit. The staff were very helpful. The disabled toilet was nice and clean and easy to access. It was nice and busy but this did not affect the professional service we received while there. The tables were cleared swiftly for the next customers and overall the venue was clean, tidy and inviting. Oh, and I must mention how cheap the coffee is too AND its refillable!
Had a chicken burger off the Christmas…
Had a chicken burger off the Christmas menu, the stuffing ball that came on it could have easily done an 18 hole round of golf, it was that hard I couldn’t cut through it, let alone attempt to eat it, shocking need to try harder bole bridge Wetherspoons Tamworth.
Phoned The Captain Alexander…
Phoned The Captain Alexander Wetherspoons pub just now to make an allergen enquiry. The girl who answered the phone put the phone down on me. Nice.
Very dissapointed to find the best bits gone from the menu
Very dissapointed to find the steaks and fresh from the grill options gone from the menu leaving only a selection of bland over priced quite frankly boring options left. Last ever visit for us I’m afraid.
Is it really worth going to…
Is it really worth going to Wetherspoons anymore,in my opinion the portions of food are getting smaller and you hope when the food arrives it’s warm or cooked . The behaviour and attitude of staff is on another level they are usually rude and offensive when you make a reasonable complaint or request. I am of the opinion this is because they get away with it ,There is not a customer complaint phone number and you have to send an email which comes back patronising (we will look in to it )reply .The same staff will still be there still behaving in there disgraceful behaviour . If Wetherspoons is so good why is everyone complaining?
Villa bella
What can I say! I've been to most wetherspoons around Wales and England, this is the worst wetherspoons by far I've ever been to, it's absolutely stinking, the seats are bogging, local drunks on a Monday morning sat next to the bar staring as if they have never seen a woman before 😳 the staff remind me of when delboy and rodney stayed at the hotel villa Bella on jolly boys outing in only fools and horses, ordered chicken off the bone in a basket the chicken was stone cold like it had just come out of the fridge, don't put your elbows on the table you won't peel the off!! This wetherspoons is very dirty, not just dusty it's grime ground in dirty,
I found a blond bob wig on the floor i think it belonged to the male bouncers, never again will I go in this place..
Lovely food but always cold
TV Programming
I am posting this on Trustpilot because the “Contact Us” facility on their web site is impossible to find.
I visit the Shay Wake in Shaw, Oldham most mornings for a coffee. Until recently the TV has been switched on to a news channel, but recently it has been showing a video promoting their hotel business. There is only one very small TV in the building and it is virtually impossible to read the very small print. I have raised this matter previously and received no satisfactory response. The staff, who I might say are very good, say that they have been instructed to show the hotel video. Could I suggest that the easiest way of resolving this problem would be to instal another TV purely for this purpose.
