The service we received from John Mcgougan from their Hillington branch was first class, John is the diamond Gem of this company. We had visited a number of carpet suppliers but none could touch the class of service received here, John helped us choose the quality carpets for our whole house keeping within our budget. We had also seen a special carpet for our hall at another supplier, although Jem did not supply this type, he exceeded our expectations & called round a number of their suppliers until he located it, not only that, he managed to get it a lot cheaper than we had seen it. Neil who did the measuring, also advised on the carpets. We had to change installation date due to builders delay, this was no bother to John. The installer William & Michael were great, they even moved my suite into the living room. Karma is true, if you are nice to people it will be returned.

We’ve had two rooms, a hall and stairs carpeted by Jem over the last 4 months. Great advice and service in the Hillingdon store. Fitted quickly to a high standard by William and Michael. Highly recommended.

Very good from purchase in the Hillington store to promp fitting. Had three carpets fitted on two separate days (to suit me) and they were spot on. Very reasonable on price as well. Top marks to Jem.

Jem Carpets (Hillington) came out to fit carpets in 3 rooms of our new house.

They arrived when they said they would and fitted all 3 carpets perfectly, no fuss or hassle. The carpet fitters were lovely and even put a little off-cut into the wardrobe for us. All the staff in the shop were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Advice and measuring through to fitting all went very smoothly. Arrived when they said they would and phoned ahead to let you know. William and Pat the fitters were so good we requested them for second carpet fitting - again made a great job and were extra careful of new painting and fitted furniture. Well done Jem carpets.

Both my husband and I were extremely pleased with the service we received at the Hillington branch. John who dealt with us was very friendly and helpful to us when making our choice for carpets and vinyl for our daughter's flat. He arranged for the carpet fitters to come over two days so that we could juggle my daughter's furniture around from one room to another as the fitters completed the hall, bathroom and living room on the first day and returned on day two so that we had time to clear the bedroom of furniture. The fitter's arrived exactly as John had arranged on day one and then back on day two. These fitter's called William and Pat did a wonderful job and were very courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to use Jem Carpets in the future and I'd like to thank everyone concerned with this carpet and vinyl installation. I highly recommend Jem Carpets and rate their service as 10 out of 10 :)

The guys at the hillington store were really good and very helpful. The 2 fitters that came out were fast and really tidy left no mess. Very happy customer, have used jem carpets before and will return to use them again.

This company were great years ago the guys working there were brilliant, very helpful and great attitudes! Not anymore! My parents and most of our family have used them since the owner John sold carpets at Drumchapel Market. My parents have been loyal since then, they got lino supplied and fitted a few years back in their kitchen which doesnt have the greatest of floors with a few bits of tiles missing which is fine as its been like that since my parents moved into in 1977 and have had lino changed a good few times since then , recently they wanted their lino renewed and went to Jems purchased quite an expensive lino and paid for both lino and fitting but when Barry John and two other guys turned up at my parents their attitude was absolute crap toward my parents, they said we cant do that because the floor isnt good, he cut my parents old lino to see the floor under the lino which is down at the moment without asking might i add, he had no right to do so. He asked my mum who fitted the lino and my mum said ‘Jems did’ my mum has still got the receipt for that so there was no argument or denial there. My parents have got there money back but to me they just didnt want to do it baring in mind it was a Friday, rush job Friday as i call any job on a Friday. The attitude from the store to the house was totally different, nicey nicey in the store and absolute horrid couldnt care less attitude in my parents house. They absolutely dont care not like John did years ago he is a gentleman unlike his Whiteinch branch crew! No one in my family will ever purchase a thing from them. Its was just a load of rubbish just guys who couldnt be bothered simple as that. No one talks to my parents like that these guys are useless and very condescending!
