Jon was down to attend my property for a quote on a Rewire and new fuse board at 9am this morning.
I never got to bed untill 3am gone as I work lates but I set my alarm and got up and ready for him, only for him to not turn up!
I called him at 9.30am and he said "oh sorry I forgot to put it in my diary"
Thanks for wasting my time and sleep.
Not impressed.

We needed someone to check the electrics of the new house we brought as there were some minor issues (previous owner tried to do some work on the cheap). Jem Electrics were very efficient, knew what they were doing, reasonably priced and turned up when they said they would. Not only would I recommend them but I have now booked them to rewire the whole house.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Jon came round to quote for the work and was very helpful, taking us through a number of different options to bring the wiring in our house up to date. His lads were very, very tidy working and worked very hard over the 4 days they were here. They were very pleasant and very courteous indeed. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

JEM Electrical started their business by ripping off wholesalers. They might be good electricians but people need to know they owe suppliers money! They are dishonest and untrustworthy. Be warned

Jon / JEM have been excellent in helping me to carry out work in my home and make good some horrendous problems.

Unfortunately I was left with a bit of a mess from my previous builder who left a kitchen extension incomplete, which meant I had to ask Jon to relocate sockets, add spurs and switches, and correct the cooker wiring. His team also found a fault where a socket was found to be on a radial when it should have been on the ring and would have caused constant cutting out. We were able to come up with a solution without chopping one of the walls of the extension down. There were also some downlights the builder installed incorrectly and a missing heat sensor that JEM corrected. I was very stressed because of the short time available before the kitchen installer was coming in, but Jon completed all the work at a reasonable price, fully certified and approved, and the kitchen installer was able to connect about my appliances with ease and on time. I was also able to get the under cabinet lights my Mother wanted thanks to Jon.

I would recommend JEM to anyone for any job as I found them to be capable, reliable, and reasonably priced. Further to this job, I have had JEM back for updating my consumer unit, testing electrics around the house and installing new lights.

Needed an electrical survey and certification in a building. Did a partial rewire, replaced old fuseboards, etc. Fire alarm system checked over. All work carried out adequately, and in a timely way, so that we could continue trading, throughout.

jon texted my house at 6am day after i told him we would not have job done have kept all texts sent to me also informed my builder who i have good record having used many times the second person got the job for his honesty that he could check all circuits to see if any or all need doing jons texts said we wasted his time should have done own research petrol used coming out to us so if you get estimate with jon make sure you give him job if not you could have nasty texts like myself and my wife both nearly 70 my builder have told us any more calls or texts from jon to tell him to contact them

This company did our full hose alarm system, electics in garage, they were polite professional and quality workmanship would recommend them to anyone.

I am a landlord, it's sometimes hard to get honest reliable tradesmen to attend and provide honest, cost effective work. JEM do just that. Will use again and fully recommend

Jon and his team have undertaken a number of jobs at our home. The property is complex and problematic but throughout I've been very impressed with the quick responses, professional work and good administration. JEM are a well organised and reliable outfit that I will use again in future.
