Important Public Information
Business went bump in 2016 whilst owing in excess of £100,000 to creditors according to their final accounts that we published.
They are illegally trading under the same name with the same company owner. HMRC have been informed and I have had the information confirmed following my report to HMRC
Biggest in the south of England. Biggest scam in the south of England.
This in formation will be posted to all other social media channels and has already gone to associated press.
I told you when you wouldn’t refund a faulty dress that I would ensure to the end of my being I would show people what you are. Prom Mums do not hand over your money to these crooks.
Absolutely terrible service
Absolutely terrible service. Ordered dress 5th Feb for prom 7th July - dress turns up in 1st July wrong colour and poorly made.
Sold sample dress and they retained my deposit so paid c£300 for poorly made, used, stained dress that cost over £100 to have made to fit my daughter
The owner / manager is rude and I was bullied and lied to into removing my original Facebook post saying they would not assist me with a replacement dress

Cheaply made, overpriced dresses
Took my daughter here for her prom dress. She chose one (of course it was the most expensive dress in the shop just short of £700)
Once it came in she tried it on, lot of material at the bottom but we knew it would need taking up so paid the balance and took it home.
Went to the seamstress to have the alterations. When she put it on it was very clear that it was a mess. The lining was longer than the outer material and had been stitched in twisted so it basically needed to be taken apart and remade. Seamstress wasn’t happy to charge me for the work so advised me to go back to the shop and ask for £80 so she could fix it.
This is where it gets ridiculous. Sales girl was very understanding and after looking at the dress agreed that it was very substandard. She also made it very clear that her boss wouldn’t agree. She had to text her, she advised that the boss won’t take called from her staff?
She sent pictures of the problem that we had taken at the seamstress. I was accused of having already sent these pictures to her ( one can only assume then that I wasn’t alone in paying for a useless dress)
She did offer to make it right, not in house, would have to be sent away. This was two weeks before the prom and I would still need to have alterations once I got the dress back. I refused. I was then told it would be a next day service. This was 5pm and I asked, so the dress will be back tomorrow? No, it won’t 🤷♀️ I do not trust this place, it’s disgusting. We all want our girls to have the dress of their dreams so we go through the motions. This dress cost me £695 and then a further £120 to make it right. And the boss won’t take calls from her staff. Absolutely don’t recommend
Poor quality overpriced dresses! Don’t buy!
Please ignore the google reviews as they pay people for those by offering money off in exchange for a good review! Staff were great initially & really helpful & patient with the 30+ dresses my daughter tried on! However, please be warned, the dresses aren’t priced so you don’t find out the cost til you go to pay. I was gobsmacked at the £370 cost of a dress I thought was only going to be around £150 but was too embarrassed to say anything as other people were waiting (my fault I know) I was also told the dresses were made to measure so non refundable which is not true, they are off the shelf & they take your measurements just to choose the closest fitting size, which takes 16 weeks! You have to then do your own alterations which cost me another £100. It was when my tailor thought I’d bought the dress from Shein or somewhere similar that I realised how poor the quality was & that myself & my daughter had been taken advantage of by the store. This was our first Prom so we have learnt an expensive lesson so please shop around as I have since found better prom dress stores with better quality dresses at warehouse prices & they include alterations!
Also just to add before I posted this review, out of courtesy I emailed them to give them a chance to put things right & they basically didn’t care, their response was that they didn’t make me buy the dress!
BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE. Bought my grandaughters dress from here in January. That was our first mistake. She tried it on yesterday for the first time as her prom is next week. So first time out of its dust bag and a plastic bone is poking out of the top of the bodice. Very poorly finished. My daughter called them this morning . They called back telling my daughter to send photos to the manager but as we bought it so long ago there was nothing they could do.
Yes we bought it in January but we wanted her to have a good choice as they only sell one dress per prom. I am handy with a needle so I can fix it but for a £550 dress I shouldn't have too......not impressed. Sort out your after sales Jenevieve reputation goes a long way. Passing info to trading standards.

My daughter and I have had nothing but disappointment since we chose her prom dress in January this year. They first of all sold an identical dress so we had to change our dress, we then chose a new dress and did not hear anything for 4 months. Eventually they contacted me to say it's ready. We tried it on before we left and it was 3 sizes to big!! No apology no discount. We were promised it would be sorted by the end of that week and this was 10 days ago and still nothing. My daughter is distraught it had ruined her whole experience and we still don't know of the dress will be ready for prom in 2 weeks! So expensive with no care or compassion. Avoid avoid avoid
Awful company
The dresses are beautiful but you can get the exact dress cheaper elsewhere (as I sadly discovered) even though they claim to be the only stockist.
Customer service before buying great.
Customer service AFTER buying absolutely awful. They lie about things, one member of staff tells you one thing and then another tells you something different. When you query this the reply is “my bad!”
Keep your fingers crossed your dress will arrive in time. Mine didn’t!
