I used Jeremy Hawkes Courier as I needed to move a 1950’s cocktail cabinet I bought in Bude (Cornwall) to my flat in London and I’m so pleased I did. Jeremy is a lovely bloke, his communication was excellent and the price quoted was really quite reasonable. I was a bit concerned that the cabinet might get damaged in transit as the interior was mirrored glass so it was quite a delicate job. Thankfully, Jeremy assured me from the off that the item would be covered and strapped up (which it was) and that the company regularly transport antique/delicate items all over the country so they know exactly what they’re doing. Highly recommended and would definitely use again.

Recently Jeremy Hawke arranged the removal of a heavy wooden table from Devon to North London, and then a table from North to South London. The whole operation was carried out perfectly. Jeremy kept in touch with us throughout, and when he arrived at our home gave us the greatest, cheerful assistance in getting the heavy table into place. He couldn't have done the job better.

Exactly as it says...'Acceptable experience but with some friction'.
I really do not like writing a review that has negativity in it, so am trying to be as fair as possible.
To begin with all went well. The communication was good, the price was reasonable, and I chose to use this company.
I had bought a sewing cabinet complete with storage boxes. For some reason the seller wrapped the boxes separately, maybe to avoid breakages. She handed them to the driver in a separate bag.
So the cabinet arrived minus the bag of storage boxes.
Despite promises, emails, phone conversations and even a recorded delivery letter, I have still not received these items. The feeling is that they did what they were asked, and that was to deliver a cabinet. Anything more was ignored.
I realise that this was not an ideal situation, either for the courier or for myself. But surely it isn't too much to ask that the items could be sent on, especially as I have offered to pay a Carrier charge.
Sadly, we wouldn't use the company again, mainly because they seem to be so indifferent to my requests.
