Clarification: their whatsapp chatbot is useless and you might as well spend ages going rounds but Eve was there to save the day! she is empathetic, a valued professional, with much thanks.

We were on time mainly
We were on time mainly. The only thing ,was coming home from Alicante we were slightly delayed and it was extremely hot in the departure tunnel and i passed out . A medic team were called,i was allowed on the flight after tests. My son was disappointed that none of the staff enquired if i was ok during the flight home ,they had been informed when i went on board that i was unwell ,but they had offered a glass of water as i boarded.

It was the first time I had travelled with Jet2 and I must say I was pleasantly surprised!
Going out it was seamless and the staff were wonderful
The only spoiler for me was on the return flight they had all four of their flights leaving at the same time which caused absolute mayhem at the check out and then again at security there must have been at least a 1000 people queuing
I understand that to give such cheap flights they need to cut back some where but to be honest I felt it was a big disappointment when it had started so well
I may try for another airline next time simply to avoid this situation

The flight out was fine as usual other than having to wait in a queue for 1.5hrs to get through security at Rome airport. The flight back was less fruitful as we had to wait for 1.5hrs on board before being allowed in to take off. I was thankful that at Ebinburgh we were able to walk from the plane into security without stairs or buses and there wasn’t another 3 planes of passengers queuing. Jet2 still the best! Regs George
What is happening to Jet2's flight services
We've been travelling with jet2 for years, they are a good Company, the cabin crew are excellent, nothing too much trouble for them. In our recent bookings over the last few years we have had delays both ways, we know a lot of companies are experiencing the same problems. On our most recent flights we had to sit on the plane looking at our luggage for one & a half hours, we were told they couldn't get anyone to load it, which was ironic as we were rushed to the boarding gate. We received an email the day before our flight informing us there would be limited food & drink on board due to tech probs & were allowing passengers to purchase same in airport but if a meal had been ordered they would still be serving them, we had booked a meal so assumed email was correct, in actual fact they announced once the cases had been loaded & we were on our way, they had no food and we were left hungry. We were told we would be re-imbursed but have yet to hear anything from Jet2 about this & haven't seen anything on the Bank either. We were delayed coming back & yet again rushed to the gate which was a very small area & we were stuck there for approximately one & a half hours again. We did receive a meal which was absolutely disgusting, you would not give it to your dog.

Very helpful and plentiful staff. Issuing me with a boarding pass which my phone was unable to do was no problem and with other airlines becomes a huge problem. Flights on time both ways Helpful “chat” from the Captain. Only issue : the hot drinks were lukewarm on the early morning flight out.
Actual flights fab but airports a fiasco…
Actual flight both ways was absolutely fine but the wait time at both airports was awful! Plane delayed arriving at Newcastle and absolute fiasco with the boarding information - delayed, then last call with no boarding gate, then long wait at boarding gate for check in and buses. Coming back from St Helier called on time to boarding gate then waited very long time standing to check in and board plane due to disorganisation oh getting 9 special assistance passengers off the plane we were getting on. Your cabin crew are really lovely so no complaints or comments about them.
We had booked sears with more leg room…
We had booked sears with more leg room on both flights. On tge way back some of these sears had not been booked. During tge flight otge passengers moved into these seats. Having had the importance of the safety nature of them, your staff made no attempt to control their usage. The pre ordered meals was a waste of money.
On the way out, I did not get one.
On the way back we both received one.
The quality was poor.
I think it highly unlikely that we woukd travel with Jet2 again.
