WTAF, they've just charged me a subscription - I haven't used their site for 6 years!!!! SCAMMERS THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. I've contacted them and reporting to trading standards, beware they are clearly keeping account information against GDPR. Disgusting!

I had an issue with a transaction on my credit card when I was charged for e-cards from JibJab that I had not ordered. I contacted JibJab support and spoke with Ale, who went out of his way to investigate the problem, and he resolved it thoroughly. Ale was always responsive to my emails, and let me know that I would be refunded the amount in question, which I have.

I have been member for >10 years, always properly 12 US collected from my AMEX. Suddenly I was no longer member due to refusal by AMEX ( JibJab told me ) and renewal costs 36 US, a 3 fold increase.
I complained and they offered me 1 year free...
Great service, but I still do not know if this was AMEX fault or not.........

Sneaky subscription. Stupid me, I paid annually for years

I was told I was paying 3 dollars a month. a bill came for 36. Insane to charge this much for a birthday card, I hope I get a refund. Absolutely horrible

Since the below review, Jib Jab have refunded me for this debit with out fuss and bother which I appreciate.

I think they should review their model and communication as soon as possible.

I have increased my review from 1 - 2 star based on their action to refund me.

I just noticed a debit on my card from this organisation, I don’t recall signing up to a long term arrangement. Reading other posts they are swindling people.

Terrible business model. Forces you to pay 6 months or 1 year. I wonder how much sales they miss for not offering price/card.

Terrible company. Tried to rip you off in every way possible. Also cards are not good quality.

I can't pay for the ONE card I want, to make my 8 year old grandson smile on his birthday.

I can't (and don't WANT to) purchase a membership, based on terrible customer reviews.

This states you can send a free video birthday message. I did a rough copy and was told to continue,you needed to give bank details for future use, but they wouldn't take any money at this time plus you can cancel anytime.as soon as I gave my details they stole £35 from my account and I never even made the video??
Please avoid there are the most corrupt website ive ever come across. They have set up a direct debit with my account to steal £35 a month off me? NEVER EVEN GOT A BIRTHDAY VIDEO OR ANYTHING FROM THEM.
I now have to go into my bank tomorrow to report fraud.

Had JibJab App for many years always been happy with service, BUT not any more.
Went to use JIB JAB to find a message as I was about to complete birthday video asking me to subscribe and price over doubled. I checked account was attached to correct email and found it was correct. There is no contact number only email that operates week days only. No option but to pay the £7.50 even though my last payment made to Jib Jab was on the 10/7 which is normal payment date.
When Jib Jab responded it did not answer my question but just confirmed I had an active account. I then sent a second email pointing out the two payments again response was just confirming I have an active account and any further problems to contact jib Jab by email. This is so frustrating not to mention expensive. I have emailed for a third time if they are still unable to deal with the issue I will cancel account. Quick to take my money shame they can’t deal with emails correctly or issue a contact number or at the very least an efficient live chat! Would not recommend jib Jab.

I haven't used this site for 10yrs and had cancelled my subscription. They took 29 dollars from my credit card this month. Card company cancelled our cards and being easter will be up to 10days refunded by card company

Worst app and website I've ever used. App doesn't even load open anymore.

So much trouble to create a video on website the message you regularly get "we have encountered an issue creating your head, please try again later"

People don't use Jibjab, they just charged me on my old card from 2018 when I haven't even used Jibjab since 2018. I've just had to report them for fraud. they have no phone number to call to sort it out either

Used the website once in 2015 and have just found out they have been charging me £20 a year for the last 10 years!

Complete scam and was not pointed out at the time!

We used the site in 2012 for a Christmas card
Didn’t sign up to anything.
They have been charging us over £100 per annum
I tried to cancel and they said they have no record of my account but still charged my Amex

Amex wouldn’t stop the payment

JibJab denied I had an account

Turns out my wife’s e mail was the account t holder.

No refund

Complete scam

Was going to order an ecard off of JibJab, but the prices are just too expensive. Honestly, being forced to pay a year or a 6-month subscription upfront seems unreasonable to the average consumer given the nature of the site. I'd probably be more likely to pay a one off payment of 6.99 for a single month of membership for a few videos/ecards, and I'd probably do that every single year. The gimmicky and novelty nature of the cards does not justify the $36 or $24 (BEFORE tax!) price tag I'm afraid, nobody I've mentioned this to agrees that the service is worth that, not when you can go to somewhere like MoonPig and customize a card for 99p, or even make a similar ElfYourself video for free. Such a strange price model for this day and age, maybe thing kind of thing would've been more acceptable 10 years ago.

Made an unauthorised transaction of €22.86 on my debit card. Got in contact with my bank and their fraud squad investigated it and I got a refund. I never even heard of Jibjab before.
