Very poor experience

Very poor experience. A western sydney technician was called out (name started with F) as we could not receive ABC sometimes or it would pixellate. Mentioned to technician that if I moved wiring sometimes it would work. Showed him TV in other room received all channels. Technician decided to install booster and replugged. Worked fine. A few months later had to unplug TV and when replaced, we couldn't get ABC. Technician called out again and said it's the wiring! Given we informed him the first time we thought he'd honour the warranty but he wanted to charge us more. Made a complaint to management and got the response that I must have caused the exact same problem when I unplugged it. Unbelievable! I highly recommend you avoid this company if you want a permanent solution to your reception problem.
Management were extremely rude and didn't get their facts straight as kept saying both Tvs had been fixed. Second TV was always working fine. When I said i had told the technician about the wiring, he acknowledged that should have been addressed if what I was saying was true. Said he'd check then never got back to me. So insulting to suggest I was making it up. He just caused more stress!
Update: had strata send out a different antenna company who said booster was redundant and fixed the issue. Paid a bit more but just wish I hadn't wasted my money with Jim's.

I recently moved into a new house where I couldn’t get reception on my tv, I also needed a new socket for the internet. I called Jim’s Antennas and had someone come and install a booster on the Ariel and replace the double socket for the NBN. The installer was here less than one and a half hours and didn’t do a great job hooking up the modem. I was charged $880.00 for the work. I’m a pensioner and think I was taken advantage of, so beware. I really wouldn’t have even given him 1star.
