Payed £350 up front for a garden job never turned up madeup lots of excuses
Got hold of him he wanted another £400 to start the job next day foolishly paid him he never turned up after a day we got hold of him from ringing from another phone,he came round on the Friday dug a bit said he ordered the turf abd slabs for Monday to finish the job
He messaged me Sunday asking for another £300 as his van failed mot
I refused as we had agreement £350 tge rest when job finished
He He never turned up Monday ,he giving ke another date which doesn't suit us
Im so angry at my self why do people do this to others it's not fair
Now I'm gonna get in touch with the police I will do everything I can to stop this crook

Fake positives reviews. This guy is scammed so many people in past and been to prison for 8 months and since he came out started again scamming people. Never even try to reach him out. I've been trying to recover my money for almost 3 months now.

Used Jon to replace some old fence panels in back garden. Comms was good ,price fair and really pleased with end results. Thank you

Johnathan Welch is the owner, I suggest you to search him in google if you are thinking to hire this gardener. You can find a news "Fraudulent landscape gardener to serve prison sentence" . Same gardener but he opens new company (Jks)now.

Avoid this person at all costs. He happily takes your money and then disappears without completing work. Calls, texts, messages — all ignored. On the rare occasions he replies, it’s just another excuse: his van broke down (he even reuses old photos), he’s unwell, stuck in traffic, or facing some new “emergency.” The pattern never changes, and the job never gets done.

On his own request, we offered him a final chance to finish the job, yet he still didn’t turn up and never refunded our payment.

We’ve now filed a court case to recover the funds. This entire ordeal has wasted our time, energy, and money, proving he’s completely unreliable and untrustworthy.

I would give zero star if I can. It is a very unpleasant experience .Jks should start work on 12 August to lay artificial grass and install fences in my front garden. Despite several promises, he never showed up,no work has been done at all. Every week he gave a new reason to delay the work, reasons include broken car, material not delivered yet, on annual leave, materials delayed delivery, and sickness. I have paid him over £1300 to purchase grass and fence before work start. I requested a refund, then he asked to give him last chance and promised to start work on 26 September, however, he didn't show up again !!
After I post negative reviews on social media, he immediately messaged me to tell that he arranged refund and I should receive money by 6 October. As of today, 14 October, no money is received, and he ignored my messages.
An unreliable and irresponsible gardener !
