Used my local Johnson’s Self Service Wash facility to launder and dry a Duvet. Very easy to understand and operate. Opted for the stain remover and sanitiser. Quilt came out lovely, clean and fresh... See more

Appalling customer service. I paid £180 to have my wedding dress collected and cleaned on 4 November 2023. I have still not received my dress back. There is no contact telephone number for customer services so I have made several online requests via the contact link, and despite requests nobody has telephone me.

Had a 2-piece uniform cleaned. Great finish and they also sowed a button on for me that was being temporarily held in place by a safety pin!

For the first time in my life I decided to trust the cleaning of a pair of curtains to johnsons the cleaners. After signing a list of disclaimers as long as the Magna Carta and agreeing breathlessly to pay £50 to let them dry clean my curtains I collected them today hoping for good results.
NEVER AGAIN!! The curtains are limp and poorly pressed and still dirty along the bottom. In addition it looked like someone had been eating biscuits whilst pressing them. They had "crumbs" embedded in to them that I had to scrape off with a finger nail. All in all a dreadful experience.

On arrival I was greeted with warmth and exceptional customer service from Karen the moment I stepped into Johnson Cleaners, 81 High St, Amblecote, Stourbridge DY8 4LY that I regret to say I had not received anywhere else for quite some time. I would like to give a big thanks to Karen, who worked tirelessly to explain about the process of my parcel that is to be collected by UPS to ensure its seamless journey back to Amazon in Indianapolis which after checking is not explained clearly by Amazon.co.uk. I was inspired by Karen’s personal commitment to making a difference and her gestures that kept me motivated through these unprecedented, difficult and challenging times. Karen's approach embodies Johnson Cleaners and their many services tailoring each and every one of them to customer needs being greatly appreciated and her continued excellent customer service which help towards finding ways to address issues, to do things differently, and make continuous improvement to my experience as a customer of Johnson Cleaners, Stourbridge. Thank you, Karen.

Excellent service, such a nice helpful approach. My USB wasn't on but the person in charge helped me to resolve and get the photos printed. Thank you so much

I handed in a 3 piece suit to be dry cleaned for a wedding. I wasn’t contacted when it was ready to be collected so I gave them a few days and went back. I collected the suit (wrapped in a white bag for protection). The wedding was a couple of days later so my partner kept it bagged. On the day he opened it up and the shirt we got back wasn’t his. It was completely different brand and too big for him. We had to go and buy a cheap shirt for that evening. We then contacted the shop and advised of the problem, they said they’d look into this when the manager was back. I received a phone call whilst we were away and the man was very kind and said he’d look into this and if it’s not found we’d start a compensation process. We then received another call by a woman who accused us of lying, twice, on two separate phone calls and that the shirt we got back from them was our own. They said they’d searched and couldn’t find it. There wasn’t even the thought that it could have been given to someone else. We are completely shocked when this was said on the phone. We didn’t even get a compensation process started. My partner went back into the shop when we returned from our holiday and we got a small percentage of money back (what I paid for the dry clean) not even for losing an expensive shirt and a voucher for money off our next use!! We’d need a receipt of the price of our original shirt but this was purchased over 6 months before so in reality who would have a receipt from then!? So just a reminder to people please be cautious when using this company for your precious items and please check straight upon collection of items. I’m disappointed and won’t be using this company for any dry cleaning again.

Wetherby branch- dropped off 7 items for ironing. These were in a nice bag, folded along with 7 hangers. Happy to take my money (£3/ item) and tell me I will get a text when done.
1 week later. No text.
I go to store to be treated as though I should be lucky I’ve got my clothes back. No bag, cheap wire hangers and an attitude that makes it really easy for me to never use again. Such a shame as I need a reliable, ironing service now more than ever!!

I visited the store today to enquire about a zip repair to my husbands jacket. I had the pleasure of meeting the staff Mandy and Angie. Angie managed to repair the zip and even better did it while I waited, saving me another journey. I am a new customer but will definitely be returning. Please pass my thanks on.

We are very upset with what has happened. My wife sent her £400 wedding shoes to be dry cleaned as the heels and toe beds were muddy. They came back completely ruined. The silk flowers are falling apart and thread bare and the details have been destroyed. Completely unacceptable, and although we are hopefully going to speak to someone on Monday, we feel this is quite serious considering the value of the product and the fact that they have been returned in far worse condition than she sent them in :(

Took my suit into the Timpson cleaners, Morrisons, Northampton for a regular dry clean, when it was returned there were tears in the trouser legs, I was told this could be moth holes? the press was awful with 6 or 7 press lines, none matching at the waist. Also, the jacket was in a dreadful state, I was told it had delaminated? The suit was sent directly to the technical department in Rugby, 6 weeks on and no response, phone number does not connect, despite it is on the report and their website...........terrible customer care, avoid!

I wish I could give no stars
Just collected my two blazers which I paid £26 for them to be cleaned and I do not believe they were cleaned at all. Still a musty smell to them, cannot smell I drop of soap. Also there are long hair strands all over them which I don’t understand. Very irritated to have spent £26 yet they still smell exactly as they did before

I today collected a leather jacket to which I put in for both a zip repair and a clean. The zip needed to be repaired due to a missing tooth.
On collection of the jacket, to which I had waited over 3 weeks and guess what, no repair carried out and I have paid over £120 for the repair and clean which I dont believe has been cleaned either (as there is still a musty smell to the interior).
I will not be returning as basic checks by any of the staff have obviously not been carried out.

I took my torn jacket (pocket tear) to a garment repair shop in Congleton but they were closed (on holiday). I went to Johnsons the Cleaners, Congleton, and the assistant? said she would repair it for £12 (I was expecting £26 ) so I paid her and she would phone me when it was ready. She phoned the same day but I missed the call due to reading an article on Gaza. I collected the jacket 2 days later and at first I could not see the repair, it was that good (invisible mend standard). I was very pleased as it was an expensive Harris Tweed jacket made in England and was very warm to wear. Perfect for the winter. If their were 6 stars in the rating, I would have awarded 6

Sent my fleece jumper (worth over £600) to be dry cleaned. It came back several days later with more stains, and stains in places that were not there before. In addition, it looks like the hoodie has been dropped on the floor. Disgraceful service, I will be contacting trading standards this can't be legal for a company to be allowed to operate like this. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I appreciate Johnson cleaners for dry cleaning my clothes, however the reason why I am leaving a 2 star review is mainly because a member of staff named Sue at the derby branch is very rude and condescending. This is my second time visiting and being served by this lady and I was inquiring about an additional service and she was very condescending and spoke to me like I was stupid. Not sure why but I felt very offended. Apart from that I have nothing against the company, I feel some of the staff should be informed about their attitude towards customers and welcome them a bit more pleasantly. This happened today October 27th at 12:00pm.

I went to Manchester in Johnson's dry cleaners, the shop was full of customers, but Anisha was smiling telling customers won't be a minute which was lovely to hear, she wasn't ignoring anybody. Then she asked for help, but the other lady wasn't very happy to come up and help.

Regular customers to Columbine then bought out by Johnsons.
The 3 stars are for the friendly staff in Heathfield
But a Badly pressed jacket with the interlining showing through. ££££ insulting prices for ruining the jacket.
Plus,
£ 9.00 for a house key cut ? £3.50 for the ironmongers up the street to duplicate a key.
Gouge no. Drive to Uckfield for future dry cleaning
yes.

I had my white wedding suit cleaned by Johnson Cleaners recently & I am very pleased with the result. A stain on the collar of the jacket meant I needed to have it professionally cleaned. The stain was lightened but still present when I picked up the suit so the lady there asked me if I’d like it washing in the machine. I signed the documents to allow this & I was very pleased with the result. The stain has completely gone & the jacket is in perfect condition. Excellent service & quality result of the item. Thank you!
