Jones Services - Removals and Storage Reviews 

Fantastic! The guys were absolutely brilliant and worked their socks off during a long day. Provided their own boxes and meticulous in what they packed and where they put it at the other end. Quote arranged in advance, doing a video walk-through via WhatsApp to determine the number of boxes that'd be involved in the pack; this enabled a fixed price quote. They re-assembled the furniture and put the boxes in the right rooms, which helped a lot with unpacking. In hindsight, I wish I'd let them do more by signing up to a full pre-pack the day before as it would've made our lives easier!

I moved mid October and the crew were fantastic from start to finish. They were so helpful making sure all my treasures were transported with care, they disconnected my washing machine and reconnected it at my new home and sorted my tv out they worked none stop. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.

We moved 21/6 using the Bronze package. My comments to Mark were as follows:
Just wanted to say how wonderful Glynn, John and Sam were moving us last Monday.
Glynn was amazing!! He works like a trojan from start to finish and it is such a physical and mentally exhausting job. Nothing was too much for Glynn, he has an amazing positivity which gives your movers confidence and a boost.All three were easy and reassuring to have around.

I chose Jones Services - Removals and Storage to relocate me to my new home in another town because they are a local family-owned company. They were fantastic from start to finish. Their website explains their services clearly and is user-friendly, and their customer service team is excellent, with consistently rapid responses and good advice. On the removal day the removal team took great care in protecting the house while moving everything out and making sure everything was collected from each room, and made sure everything was exactly where I wanted it in the new property. I chose the Silver Package which is great as it includes dismantling and reassembling furniture that cannot be removed in one piece. All of the team are extremely helpful, friendly and reassuring, and they completely understand how stressful moving house can be. Boxes are on hire and they collect within a reasonable time after the move. I highly recommend this service.

I have used Jones Services on two occasions now and can in all honesty say both times that right from the first contact and enquiry through to my furniture being delivered and in situ the service was excellent. Every care was taken of my belongings and I was kept informed on all the details of the collections and deliveries. I can fully recommend Mark and his team.

Could not fault Jones Removals for the job they did for us. From the providing of enough boxes etc to move day. Had some heavy lifting and twisting and turning to do and succeeded brilliantly.
Took time to talk to us, didn't moan at my coffee making 😃😂!! They had to lift a metal cabinet upstairs with no grip on it, no mean feat, but with a bit of "to me, to you" we did joke at the time, they did it - hats off to em for that 😃. Thank you Jones Removals Team 👏👏

Mixed experience about this company. I would have given nothing but glowing reports about the company. The delivery guys were really friendly and accommodating, they were very quick to pack up and deliver all of our belongings. However the following day after the move I noticed some damage on the furniture and stuff in the garden. I am planning on fixing the furniture myself as it is solid oak and can be sanded but what upsets me the most was a garden statue that I received as a present less than 12 months ago. I noticed the arm was missing and when I spoke to the company they refused to accept any liability for it. They asked for photos of the item before and after the move and surprisingly I had taken photos recently to show someone - once I sent this to them I had hoped the matter would be resolved only to be told that as I hadn't bubble wrapped the item it wouldn't be covered anyway. I was originally told that the team would use blankets to protect the item so the story kept changing by email. Eventually they said that under the terms and conditions I wouldn't be covered anyway as it was "garden furniture" and none of these are covered. They relied under the wording "etc" in the terms and conditions as a loop hole.

They did bring some extra boxes and paper/bubble wrap to me a couple of days before the move but they did make it very clear to me by email that I had received more than what they had estimated, despite me having 3 full car loads to the tip to remove stuff after they did the estimate.

I haven't bothered about highlighting the damage to the oak furniture due to the trouble I have had with my garden ornament. At least the arm has now turned up in an empty planter pot although they claim no knowledge to how this has got in there. I will attempt to glue it back on.

Moral of the story is - if you use this company make sure EVERYTHING is bubble wrapped and be prepared for the item not to be covered if you have to challenge them.

Jones Removals were excellent, very helpful & professional. They made what could have been a stressful time much easier. I would recommend them to any friends who were moving.

Our experience with Jones Removals has been brilliant. Right from the start when dealing with Kate. She was so helpful, nothing too much bother. She reassured us making the whole experience less fraught. Moving day was great,the guys arrived on time and they packed up the vans in no time at all. Very professional and courteous. They moved us to Devon from the West Midlands . On our arrival we had a long wait before we were able to get our keys. This did not phase the delivery men at all even having such a long drive after a long day. I would highly recommend.

Used these guys to remove furniture after a bereavement in the family. Really easy to work with and very respectful of the situation we were in. Top guys will defo use again.

Absolutely fantastic- friendly and professional! They take such great care with all your belongings and the service to dismantle and reassemble your furniture is so worth it! I would not have wanted to put back together 3 Ikea wardrobes - but was no problem for the guys. We would heartily recommend them.

It's taken me a while to write this review as I've been so busy, but at the back of my mind I've kept thinking...I MUST write a review of Jones Services. Mark and the team were fantastic. I was a long day, but they remained cheerful and professional, despite the long wait for the keys and our heavy boxes. Mark and his team worked very hard and our furniture was in great hands. Mark and his team moved us into our park bungalow with no trouble at all. We did have to wait for the completion to go through but as Mark advertises, we weren't charged for this waiting time.

We had the boxes delivered alongside pens and packing tape.

Our furniture was handled with care and expertise.
