Spits way too much
Spits way too much, I Googled this and found it's a common problem. I tried all the suggestions for a solution but still I kept getting the hot oil in my mouth and excessive spitting. In fact if I just press the ignitor button and hold it out you can see the spray spitting out which is then followed by a huge smoke plume. NOT normal. I eventually abandoned it for my old vape pen for which I just bought a few different batteries and am now a happy vapor again :) Sadly I bought half a dozen coils which I will probably never use.

Batpack system
The batpack system is, as far as I know, unique in that it uses regular AA batteries.
It works well and feels like a quality device.
Filling is done by simply unscrewing the top which works well unless the coil is not adequately tightened to the base, at which point it will come away with the top.
In order to tighten the coil adequately the glass tube must be removed. This is not easy and my first attempt resulted in a broken tube.
My solution was to make a bung from tape which grips and supports the tube from inside when removing.
