EXCELLENT

Works Well With A Key Limitation

The existing tool seems to work well, but it's missing a critical component: the ability to specify a maximum output file size. For example, compress the source image to a specified maximum output size (say, <4MB) while preserving the image's dimensions. That's the part I need most.

Indispensable tool for professionals

What a great software. Saves me a ton of storage space. I'm a professional full time photographer and I use JPEGmini to resize and compress files for delivery on thumb drives or before uploading to my website.

Astonishing Space Savings

I have tried many programs that claim to shrink jpegs but the consequence has always been a noticeable drop in picture quality. JPEGmini had some very good reviews, so I took the plunge and I have not been disappointed. Savings can be huge and I have yet to see any deterioration in image quality, even when blown up – it is like magic! I recently compressed a folder with a few thousand photos and saved over 1GB!! It is also useful if you have a website or publish email blasts with images – those images will load much faster. It works quickly and keeps a track of your savings – highly recommended!
