say goodbye to good service after paying

They promise anything to get their hands on your money ,and once they have, forget customer service .
Oh yes we deliver quickly ,oh no they DO NOT.You will wait weeks and weeks--its varies from-waiting for manufacturer--then with courier--then at Stoke branch--and everytime you make contact regarding progress you will get fobbed off and misled--then the process is repeated .Taps corroded they refused to replace saying corrosive cleaner used ,not true why would we want to vandalise our own bathroom ?Jupiter Haze waterfall bath and bowl set both corroded ,kept contacting them ,no joy ,so on the anniversary of delivery ,thought I would share this ,and sent to Trading Standards for their view .Invoice number 34093/110222/25.You pay your money then are a nuisance for expecting a service .Looking forward to the reply ,good that we can respond to it !!

Disappointing quality

Disappointing quality, wouldn't recommend! I ordered a spa bath, three issues experienced in the one order;

(1) I rang and asked to remove the waste and plug well in advance of delivery and it was confirmed this would be removed and I would be refunded. It arrived with it and when I checked my bank account - no refund. I rang them and they eventually found the call details and said the Operator forgot to hit save.

(2) The bath legs didn't fit the bath, they didn't fit around the piping and my fitter was therefore unable to fit the bath on the day booked and I had to wait around 5 days for them to arrive. The existing bath had been removed by the time we realised so I was without a bath or shower for this time and needing to go to work in a professional job. I live in a one bedroom flat. It delayed the entire job and cost me money paying my fitter purely because they'd sent the wrong parts.

(3) The bath end costing £30 was the wrong width. 750mm for a 700mm bath which required removing the lip to fit to size, doubling the fitting time but also a shabby, unprofessional finish, with no sturdiness, or rigidity, likely to get broken in the not too distant future. You don't tend to expect fitters to cut plastic because it's prone to crack. Ultimately I had to purchase the correct end from Travis Perkins for nearly half the price, £16.38 to get a professional finish on the bath I'd paid a lot of money for. After raising the issue they simply replied you have to cut it to size yourself and offered no resolution whatsoever.

AVOID AT ALL COST

AVOID AT ALL COST. . ! !

These guys have taken ages to get thr ordered delivered. I am waiting for weeks. Your JTSpas.co.uk order number 43389.

If I would have ordered from another supplier I would have got the bathtub by now.

They say next day delivery but now its been 3 weeks and no contact from the company at all.

DO NOT BUY BATH FROM THEM. They don't know how to make them. They will take weeks to make the bath. Then send you a defective piece with missing items. Senior female manager is absolutely rude to customers. The Company holds zero customer service. Rude staff. They work suspiciously. Like they won't send you video to show that the tub is in working condition. Then trouble you to return it, even though they are at fault for sending the defective piece. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Horrendous company - steer completely clear ... consider this a warning to avoid this company at all costs.

I would advise to completely and utterly avoid this company.

They're useless...do NOT waste your money.

We spent well in excess of £2k with them on what was meant to be a really nice steam shower tub, and although it was delivered to a building site, they expected us to unpack and inspect every component within 24-48hrs...of course that was impossible on a building site...but do they care? No! So...when it's safe to unpack and inspect, we realise it's in terrible shape and it although the packaging is intact the contents are absolutely knackered - would have come from factory like that.

Contact their "customer service" they don't give a single **** when you explain the situation - basically too bad that you didn't open and inspect it the first couple of days, of course it would make sense to do so in the middle of a building site...

Horrendous company - steer completely clear ... consider this a warning to avoid this company at all costs. You'll be able to find what you need from somewhere else...even if it's more expensive elsewhere, you'll at least be looked after!

Now, I expect I'll have a response from JT Spas explaining their useless 'policies'. I still would advise to NEVER use JT Spas!

Goodbye and never again JT Spas!

We ask for all goods to be checked on delivery and not signed for until you are satisfied. If the packaging is ripped or damaged sign on the delivery note as Packaging Damaged and report to us immediately or within 24 hours if there are any damages to the products after careful inspection after the driver has left - claims for damaged items will not be otherwise accepted.

In this case, your goods were delivered 20/07/2022 and you recently reported damages to us 26/10/22 which is 3 months later. I am sorry however we cannot be liable for these damages after 3 months of them being in your care. You advised the goods were delivered to a building site and also mentioned to our sales team that the goods were delivered through a window meaning the goods were moved in your care.

So, we read all of the bad reviews and originally made an online purchase with another 5 star rated company... can't tell you what a mistake we made, I should have used JTSPAS from the start. Ordered a bath on Wednesday lunch time and was delivered in perfect condition on Thursday afternoon. The service and communication was absolutely incredible!

I can confirm your order total was in fact £2044.99 and delivery was accepted 01/07/22 which was almost 3 months ago.

As per our terms and conditions, all goods must be checked on delivery and not signed for until you are satisfied, if the packaging is ripped or damaged sign on the delivery note as Packaging Damaged and report to us immediately or within 24hrs if there are any damages to the products after careful inspect after the driver has left - claims for damaged items will not be otherwise accepted. Terms such as Unchecked or Not Checked are taken as clear acceptance of goods in good order and condition.

We do have a signed proof of delivery from yourself from 01/07/22 to advise the goods were accepted in good condition. We also have images from the delivery and can forward these across separately if required due to GDPR.

I sympathise with you that one of the panels is broken and needs replaced, the panel is safety glass and passes through quality control before being sent out so I am unsure how this has happened. Furthermore, since this was reported almost 3 months later, we cannot accept liability therefore for a new panel to be ordered from the supplier, this would be payable to yourself.

Incredibly Poor Customer Service

I paid for delivery within seven working days on 27/08/22. Requested refund on 17/09/22 after no delivery and multiple missed callbacks and delivery promises that never showed. JT Spas now refusing to provide a refund.

I received a message saying the item is ready to be delivered on 21/09/22 despite the requested refund through PayPal on 17/09/22. Which highlights the lack of organisation of the business.

Customer experience is incredibly poor. For example, I spoke with one of their customer service agents on 16/09/22, being told the delivery will be on 20/09/22. I spoke with the courier ten minutes later to confirm, and they stated at this point, they still had not received the item, and the earliest delivery would be 21/09/22 or 22/09/22.

Purchased with a different retailer on 17/09/22 and received on 21/09/22 (next working day). Definitely worth not shopping at JT Spas.

EDIT:
JT Spas at 13:54 on 23/09/22 decided to make an offer for a partial refund of £30. Not the full £936.20.

Might I suggest reading the following steps from PayPal help pages showing that JT Spas yet again, now in public, are willing to try to mislead by stating that a full refund is not available.

"How do I issue a refund for a PayPal dispute?
To issue a full refund:

- Go to Resolution Centre.
- Select Open Cases from the list and find the transaction.
- Click the Case ID in the Case column.
- Click Issue a full refund on the case details page."

Hi Thomas,

Having read over your review and the notes on your order, I can see your order was placed 27/08 which is a Saturday, your order was then picked up the next working day Monday 29/08, processed and sent across to the third party courier service to be picked and then routed for delivery.

The delivery you had selected was 3-7 working days which we usually always like to stick to. I believe there was a delay with the picking of your product which meant that your delivery wasn't delivered within this time frame. On 07/09 the delivery charge was refunded back to you as we were unable to fulfil this.

We continued to chase the third party warehouse to get your order picked and routed for delivery. Paypal then notified us that a case had been set up on 20/09 and you had requested a refund. This is the reason why the delivery company continued trying to book the delivery in with you as we were only notified 3 days after you had requested a refund. If you had wanted to cancel your order this would have been no problem and we would have sent this to our accounts team on the same day.

However, since you did not get in touch and notify us directly that you wanted to cancel, we cannot refund until the Paypal case is settled. Basically, how the Paypal case works is they hold the funds until a decision has been made meaning we cannot therefore refund you on our end as we physically do not have your funds available since Paypal are currently holding them.

I am sorry you feel your customer experience has been poor. I believe the mis-communication from the courier company advising they didn't have the goods wasn't correct and in fact they meant the goods hadn't been scanned in. The goods had been received and were waiting to be routed for delivery.

I would suggest that you speak with Paypal if you are looking to be refunded as soon as possible as this is the sole reason that we cannot provide a refund on our end. If you had contacted us directly, the refund would have been provided long before now. All comments will be passed to the relevant people.

Edit:
The partial refund of £30.00 was offered as a goodwill gesture for taking longer than anticipated with delivery and because the goods were on a van awaiting delivery. We have spoken with Paypal and agreed for them to refund you. This should be back with you now, there would have been no issue providing a full refund if the cancellation was requested directly through us.

Ordered a D shaped shower cubicle with…

Ordered a D shaped shower cubicle with tray, waste, handles, chrone fittings and round thermostat two weeks before my plumber was due to refurb the bathroom. My delivery arrived by a rather abrupt driver who was on his mobile. After checking the delivery I noticed that the round thermostat was missing so I rang customer service who told me the thermostat would come separately? . It arrived three days later! The day came for installation, but unfortunately the plumber could not complete as the chrome door attachments were missing. I rang customer service who told me they were 'in the warehouse ' and I should have checked the delivery thoroughly before engaging a plumber!
The attachments arrived the following day, but my plumber was unable to complete due to other commitments until the following week at an extra cost of £132.
I'm not impressed and would advise to steer clear.

I do apologise you feel he was abrupt and you received a bad service with him, I can pass these comments onto the third party courier service and have them investigate this further.

Secondly, some products come from different suppliers which was the reason your thermostat was delivered separately.
Lastly, I do apologise that there was door attachments missing these were sent out as soon as we were notified that they were missing and this is the reason we ask for all deliveries to be checked because it is very rare that items are missing from deliveries but unfortunately it can happen. This is why we state in our terms and conditions not to book any plumbers in until the goods have been received and checked over.

Ordered a shower enclosure on 5th…

Ordered a shower enclosure on 5th August. Delivery was delayed and every time I called I was told there is an issue with the picker availability, warehouse operation and then courier availability. Today when I called i was told they cannot find a courier to send it to me and no option rather than refund. Rather very poor company in terms of communication and service. No customer service and in fact I believe there is no customer service team in this company.

Haphazard from start to finish

They missed the first delivery date.
Then they missed the second - though that was because they spotted a faulty unit from the manufacturer (havingvleft delivery to them, until the last minutes).
Then the shipped the unit without without two of the options I requested.
I ordered the £200 bluetooth speaker option, which arrived after the unit, with no instructions and an email saying hard wire into a fused spur.
Turns out that bluetooth unit forgets connections and requires restarting and re-pairing after each use. As instructions did nit say that a switch was required, the unit is not now usable.
They deny that this is not acceptable.
Quite haphazard and very low quality service.

Update 29/6/22 in response to JTSpas reply.
Looking at other reviews there seems to be a trend here, of not acknowledging your failings.
Your colleagues have just sent me an updated (from the version I had with the unit) installation instructions which very clearly state "a 13A supply is required. This can be from the fuse board or from a suitable ring main. This should be wired to a fused spur." You told me by email today that you think it is good practice to switch appliances off when not in use and that the whirlpool bath will last longer if switched off. If that is important, and required for functioning of the bluetooth system, then it would be appropriate to tell customers in advance.
At the very least it would be polite to acknowledge this omission rather than simply blame me and my electrician for following your instructions.

Many thanks for your review, upon looking up your order details i can see that our customer services team have been trying to help you with your whirlpool bath and separate bluetooth audio speaker system.

I have spoken to the manufacturer of the whirlpool bath and also the suppliers of the Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth device is meant to be installed to the fused spur of the whirlpool bath in the bathroom as per the installation instructions. As both of the devices should then be powered off when not in use, this will help protect the lifespan and help protect against electrical surges. When power is then switched on the bluetooth device enters pairing mode and will connect to your device as usual as mentioned by our customer services team.

We would highly recommend you speak to your electrician as not following the installation instructions is highly dangerous . It is the electricians responsibility to complete the installation as per the manufacturers installation requirements.

Please Nick contact your electrician to complete the electrical installation with the IP56 fused Spur.
