Good products but awful customer service for returns
I have used this company several times in the past. Bought new pillows for all my bedrooms from here, and they have been great. But this last time I also ordered a duvet cover set. When it arrived the colour wasn’t as displayed on my screen. Not their fault but it had to be returned. I went onto their website and printed off the label, packaged it up and set out to find a Yodel In Post locker. So far so good. Then it all went rubbish. I tried three lockers and none recognised the bar code(s) on my parcel. There were no fewer than five bar codes on the postage label and it was impossible to discern which was supposed to be scanned. But I tried them all. At the last locker I called the help number on the locker but after a lengthy discussion the lady told me I needed to contact Julian Charles as the issue was with them, not Yodel. So I went home and went back to my email confirmation of my order and then to the company website. Guess what. There is no telephone customer service provided by Julian Charles. So I emailed them. They promise to respond within three days, I think, But I still haven’t received a response after two emails a week apart. Finally my husband found a store that managed with some difficulty to get the parcel to scan and so we have handed it over. However, I am still waiting for a refund. The parcel has been sat in a Yodel warehouse house for some days now not moving. All of this has taken over a month and I am fuming. Returns as usually so simple (Amazon, Reiker, Roman Originals, etc) niwadays. Most can be dropped off at any post office or even collected by the postman. Most give refunds immediately on scanning the label. And yet Julian Charles have had me running around for a month, sweating in case I run out of time for a refund, still waiting to get £70 back for a duvet cover??!! I’m so annoyed and frustrated with them. Absolutely NO customer service and no way of contacting them whatsoever.

Terrible customer service – order still hasn’t arrived
Absolutely shocking service. My order still hasn’t arrived and trying to get any information from Julian Charles has been impossible. There doesn’t appear to be anyone you can actually speak to by phone, so I’ve emailed them three separate times and haven’t received a single response.
I understand that deliveries can sometimes be delayed, but completely ignoring a customer who is trying to find out where their paid-for order is simply isn’t acceptable. At the very least, I expect someone to acknowledge my emails and explain what is happening.
Based on my experience so far, I certainly wouldn’t recommend ordering from them. One star for the complete lack of communication and customer service.
