We visited the Oxford branch.
I am a great fan of mini golf.
Junkyard golf is an awful example of mini golf.
Expensive.
Short, boring holes
Expensive
Loud music, flashing lights and glowing golf balls do not make the holes any better. It would be fun for 5-10 year olds but the venue is aimed at adults.
At best it was a £3-£5 experience. And even at that price it would not have been a good experience.
I won't be going again and I suggest you don't either.
Manager at the Worship Street location was extremely rude. Was looking forward to so simple fun but the rude staff and slow service made it hard to even hang out here. There are many better place nearby and would never go here again.
Waited over 30mins for the cloak room to open, as told by security and cloak room staff, to be told by the manager Destiny that she would open it whenever she felt like it. She could have approached the issue with understanding and explained the situation, but was very rude and dismissive to me and my party. This was after we watched half the venue empty out taking their items with them.
What a fab night absolutely loved it at junkyard so much fun fair priced excellent customer service thank you JG 🖤
Great place to spend an hour or so in Liverpool. Quite pricey, but went with a group and all had a good time, though there could be more holes as we did finish the course pretty quickly. Atmosphere and drinks spot on.
Drinks are reasonably priced and look incredible.
Staff were friendly but seemed rather bored just being sat there.
However, we played Bozo and the course was extremely short and not exactly challenging when the majority of holes can be done in 2 shots (by not very good players).
I would highly recommend going with a group so it takes up more time as going as a couple meant completing the small course in very little time at all.
Also, the course seemed very cheap and lack-luster in comparison to its competitor at the Baltic Triangle.
I'd even go as far to say I enjoyed the Jungle Rumble that was originally there instead of Junkyard.
In summary, the atmosphere was pretty good but the price seemed a bit high for how quickly you can 'complete' the course and friends who have also went seem to agree.
