I have now tried to make 3 orders on…

I have now tried to make 3 orders on Just Eat and none of them ever arrived. Never got compensation or refunds or anything. Also, the phone number of the restaurants I ordered from, doesn’t exist. All I can do is chat with an AI “help”-bot who does absolutely nothing. Never order from Just Eat.

Sometimes the order does not go through in the system. In such cases you do not receive a confirmation email regarding your order, since the order placement was unsuccessful. This can happen for a lot of reasons, for example if the payment gets declined. 

In these cases, the order amount will be reserved, and released within 3 business days. I would love to take a look at your orders, and see if this was the case. If not, I will look into what happened and a possible refund.

Order never received

I keep getting my order backed up 15 min every 15 min for no reason. It seems like there is no delivery person in my area and im stuck waiting for food that will never arrive. I cannot contact customer support because there isnt any and i cannot get my money back because there is only a stupid chatbot, and when demanding that to put me in contact with a real person it tells me a transcript has been sent to my email which it hasnt.

Im being stolen from at this given moment.

Failing business model.

I just don't see the point of it, the value or the reasoning behind the business model. They start with putting a decent markup on the items from the restaurants in range of 15-20% then on top of that they charge you a 5-8 EUR delivery fee and another 6% service fee. I did the math last night that the order from McDonalds which costs me 235DKK in the restaurant ends up costing me 385 DKK to have it delivered home so I went and picked it up myself, saved some money, saved some time because I got it faster and lost some calories along the way.

The delivery fee covers for the expenses for the delivery, which includes the driver picking up your order from the restaurant and delivering it to your address.

The delivery fee and service fee applicable to the order may vary depending on a number of factors, including location, the restaurant selected and the value of the items in the order, but these costs will always be displayed on the Platform separately from the costs of the goods offered by the company in a way that is visible before a customer places an order.

An abhorrent service

An abhorrent service, but you wont notice till it goes wrong! Do not deal with a buisness with no phone number to call on. Thought we knew this. Why do you think their is no phone number. Refund policy is terrible. App will tell you Restaurant closed or open when ots not but still take your money. Well the Robots do. They Dont listen to customers. They think we are alwaus wrong. Abhorrent in many vulgar ways.

I ordered +2hs ago, if you want to ask what's coming on there's not customer support, only a useless chatbot with only 3 options and answers, none real customer support, after that you'll get your order someday if they feel like because you've no space to complain or ask what's coming on

Late delivery and of route courier

I have more than once now ordered food for a specific time (and I ordered it at least 1,5 hours before I wanted it there). In both cases food has been late (over half an hour the second time, and 2 HOURS the first time). I also have been watching the courier GPS because of it being late, and both times I noticed that the courier drove further away from my apartment??? Wtf this is just not okay

Absolute trash

Absolute trash. My order did not come, it's been over 30 minutes and it's basically impossible to reach customer service. Do NOT even think about ordering from Just-eat. It's been a hassle throughout.

The time on the app and website is an average and therefore unfortunately cannot be guaranteed. Despite pre-ordering and an initial estimate, unforeseen delays may occur, depending on how busy the restaurant is and how many drivers are available. The delivery time on the app is based on the restaurant's latest deliveries, and if they are experiencing a busy time, this may result in delays.

I have received a wrong order from Just…

I have received a wrong order from Just Eat, tried all communication avenues yet told to wait for 24 hours. The delivery guy never responded on the virtual chat neither do I get assistance on calling of this company office numbers. Am told to wait 24 hours for available assistance. This is a terrible customer service ever: paid £72.00 yet order is wrong with no items ordered and half that price. Very useless delivery company with doggy delivery guys that are impolite. Am still waiting from 20 hours ago…

ridiculous 2-hour delay and incompetent support

absolute disaster. i ordered a vape and some e-liquids, and ended up waiting for more than 2,5 hours. throughout the whole process, the support was completely useless. when i contacted them to ask why it was taking so long, they kept giving me scripted answers about 'waiting for the food to be cooked'.
​i repeatedly explained that my order was NOT food and didn't require any preparation, but they just ignored it and continued using their 'cooking' excuse. to make it worse, they refused to give a refund and tried to push a 20% voucher on me instead. why would i want a voucher for a service i'm never going to use again?
​if you want to waste your time and listen to support agents who don't even check what you ordered, use "Just eat". otherwise, stay away. worst service in Denmark

Extremely bad service and lying personnel

Extremely bad service. The driver never went to the restaurant to pick up our order, he lied to us that the restaurant has cancelled it and then two of their customer support guys could not get the issue resolved and made us wait for another 1 hour before we eventually had enough and cancelled the order. Disgusting. I will never ever use JustEat again.

Surrealist experience on Valentine's…

Surrealist experience on Valentine's day!
I placed an order around midday, at 13.16 the order was confirmed for a delivery at 19.15.

At 19.30 I received a SMS and an email informing me my order is cancelled!! Completely unacceptable.

Thank you Just Eat for ruining my Valentine's eve!

The whole order was messed up

The whole order was messed up, the delivery was late, food was cold and when we approached Just Eat chatbot, it stopped replying after the order was described.

I’ve left one star as it is the lowest…

I’ve left one star as it is the lowest rating I can leave. Absolutely shambolic service. I did a Chop Shop order online and quickly realised I made an error with the address THERE IS NO WAY TO INFORM Just-Eat of the ERROR. AND the driver was rude!

Ordered 5 minutes to closing time

Without knowing that the restaurant I ordered from was closing shortly I unintentionally ended up ordering 5 minuts before closing time.
I still got my order nonetheless.

However i do have a suggestion to avoid the inconvenience for the shop.
Perhaps add a kitchen closing time, which the restaurants can add preventing customers ordering too late.

45 min late delivery, not as agreed

They don’t respect the agreed time for delivery. Once paid, you speak with a useless chatbot without solutions and the the answer is: your order is 10 minutes away, and so on until your food is 1;5 hour delayed.

We waited 2 hours for our food, no appology.

We waited 2 hours for our food on a regular tuesday. We were given an estimate of 45 minutes when we ordered. The delivery time estimate kept moving up and down, so we had no way of knowing when the food would arrive or whether the order would end up being canceled.
