This was the second time we've used just go and it definitely won't be the last.
The staff are really enthusiastic and happy to help to make your experience as care free and enjoyable as possible.
Can't wait for next year's trip!

I do not like to leave bad reviews as often feel people need to be given a chance and bad experiences may just be a one off occurrence, but the experience I have had with JustGo is verging on diabolical.
We had a problem with the main fuse keep tripping off from the 2nd day of out 18 day rental when hooked up to a supply, no one could come out so we ended up taking it to a garage to get looked at (approved by justgo) and had to pay the fee ourselves even though we were told they used them before and would invoice justgo. Unfortunately the problem wasn't fixed and we went out out way to try and get a new fuse, we gave up in the end and lived with keep flicking the trip switch back on every time, sometimes every 20 mins. On returning to the depot we had a lengthy discussion with the manager and he agreed to pay the garage bill and some compensation for our troubles, since then 6 weeks on despite numerous emails and phone calls (even spoke to the guy again 4 weeks ago and he promised wed get pid back in 10 days) we still have not had our garage bill money back or the compensation.
The frontline staff are helpful and always say they it will be passed on or they'll get back to me after speaking to accounts but no one does!!! Seems the management are ignoring are requests and no one is bothered sorting it out.

Hopefully this review with give someone a kick up the butt and pull their finger out to get it sorted.

Friendly welcome when we arrived. The signup and introduction process was smooth and efficient. The return process was equally as smooth.

Usually there are 2 ramps for levelling a camper at sites and these are on offer as an added extra. I think these items should be offered as part of the camper inventory. If not returned the cost reimbursed.

In the JustGo shop there are household items that have been returned from previous camper rentals for example olive oil, washing liquid and other items. These were never offered for continued use for the new rental. I would have used a number of these items. I understand that offering these items might offend some but a sign to let others know that the items can be used would have informed me.

I will use JustGo again.

Everything was great, communication before the Motorhome collection, self check-in, tour & presentation, videos, docs and real check-in "live" with people from Just Go. They are clear, usefull, give a lot of details. Same for the check-out when we get back from our trip.

Some amazing, lovely staff checking us in and showing us around the campervan.
But major mistake was made advising us that a specific licence from abroad was acceptable (especially as I checked in advance) and then told us at pick up that it wasn’t accepted by insurers.
Also we had lights appear on dashboard and felt the van needed several mechanical issues (when reaching a certain mileage) looked at before hiring out. No one responded to the out of hours number. But once we did speak to staff they were very helpful.

Checked in online as per the request and then when arrived to collect van had to check in again which took close to 1 hour.
Van was quite old and had lots of broken parts - mostly interior - this was not mentioned to us and it may have been useful so that we didn’t worry about things. We requested a sheet set which was wrapped nicely but when we unpacked it, there was mouse droppings inside. The first time we tried the heater, there was a strong smell which worried us, but we tried again with the van doors open and this time, the smell disappeared. I guess it hadn’t been used in a while and was dirty??

great camper, lovely people. No hassle, easy to book.

Staff were pleasant helpful and knowledgeable. However given the number of vans being collected over a short period of time they were having to rush through the handovers. The van drove well and all the features worked well. However if given more time for the handover we would have requested a change of van given the height of the rear transverse bed which was awkward to get in and out off.

We had a wonderful time with the motorhome and can recommend justgo.

There are some reason its not a five star review. The booking process wasn’t smooth. I had to call 4 times to finally receive the correct quotation. Even afterwards i received an email with the wrong pick up time (we had booked early pick up) so we had to call again to make sure everything was ok.

When picking up the vehicle. All the additional extras booked were missing (child seat, linens, toilet chemicals, toilet paper, camping gear).
Thankfully we were already told to make sure everything was on board but I would expect that such tings a checked beforehand. The child seat storage room is a mess, the child seats not cleaned.

Apart from that, the motorhome was in good condition and clean. We received good recommendations for our trip and the employee we dealt with was super friendly. I would book again from justgo.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. MH was spotlessly clean and we were shown how things work and they were more than happy for us to stay as long as we needed to familiarise ourselves with everything. Unfortunately we weren’t shown how to spin the front seats (the lever is well hidden). On our return, my car had low tyre pressure and John couldn’t have been more helpful, he sorted out the pressure for us and we were soon on our way home. Thank you John

Motorhome had lots of small things internally that needed fixed. Outside where it had previously been damaged had been covered by sticky tape. The staff were really good and friendly but were hugely understaffed resulting in long waits when both picking up and returning the Motorhome. &50 for parking on a grass verge?? After complaining we were not chsrged.

I was given conformation the Saturday before I was due to pick up my vehicle, that I would be able to do have the vehicle by Midday. Upon arrival, I was checked in and then informed my vehicle was damaged so there would be a lateness in being able to have it. I had no further updates about this until 3 hours passed, when I questioned what the hold up had been. I also realised other customers were being told similar things, with them also waiting hours to get there vehicle. The excuse given by staff was they were busy that afternoon with 22 van going out. However as I pointed out, they would have been aware of this prior to the day which they should be able to manage. I had waited 3:30 hrs before receiving my vehicle.

Overall, the experience renting from Bunk Campers was a positive one. Our camper was in relatively good shape, and was reliable throughout our entire time in Scotland.

The staff at drop-off were very friendly, and made the process very simple. We would rent from them again.

That said, the rental came with its challenges.

Our check in process was brutally painful, to say the least. There were 27+ campers being picked up at the same time as us, and the staff struggled to keep up. We "checked in" upon arrival, and were told our camper wasn't ready, so they put us in their boardroom to wait. after waiting 2.5 hours, we felt they may have forgotten about us as we saw many people come and go. Upon asking for an update, we found out they did in fact forget about us, as no one properly checked us in. Overall check-in took over 3.5 hours to complete.

Our camper also had a few issues that weren't big deals, but were annoying. One of the blinds on right side of the camper wasn't attached properly, causing the blinds to unhook over every bump on the road (which there is a lot of in Scotland). The water fill hose they provided had a cut in it, making it impossible to fill the camper with water. Luckily, most campsites across Scotland offer a hose to help fill.

Overall a good experience, but a few items that need to be cleaned up to provide an exceptional experience.

Horrible experience!

Would give negative stars if possible.
The campervan was in horrible condition. On day 2 we had to change one of the two campers cause the window wouldn't go up again. The hole service to repair the issue was embarassing. The water pipe under the kitchen sink fell of a few days later so we were unable to use any water (no toilet, no kitchen sink, no shower). The window in the sleeping area just fell of if you tried to open it. The refrigerator smelled like compost and was extremely messy. The bathroom door was out of it's attachement so you were able to press the whole wall around. The blind on the driver site was fixed with tape since the beginning. We were unable to close it so everybody could look inside the vehicle. These are just some of the issues we had. Can't recommend at all! Got some money back after 10calls in like 3 months and had to threaten the company with a lawyer. Never ever again!

The motorhome is great, comfortable and has everything you need for your trip. What I did not like was the communication with staff in the previous days. I only was informed of the time for picking up the car two days in advance. And the announcement went to my junk email. They did not make much effort in calling me. Then, we arrive to the office at 9 am with plans to visit several places in Scotland, and ended up waiting the car until 4 pm. Lots of people waiting in the same way. This wait ruined our plans because we couldn't visit the anticipated places. The same happen with the return day. We needed to return the car at 10 am. So there is not much time on that day beyond charging diesel, cleaning the toilet and packing your luggage. We felt that two days charged were only used to pick up and return the car. Unfair.

Camper was clean, ran great, staff very friendly. We enjoyed touring Scotland with it. Just be prepared to wait awhile for picking up your camper even with a pickup time. This they could do better. Drop off was easy and quick.

We received excellent service and care from the team at Edinburgh. They made sure we had everything we needed and were a pleasure to share some time with on our very bespoke holiday. We will be back and we look forward to it. Thank you Just Go!

The vehicle was reliable, easy to drive (though a bit big at times), very rattly, maybe plastic plates, some extra tea towels to wrap around pots and pans etc.
A nearby place to park up for the first night would be good- delayed departure seems common.

Short version: Faulty vehicle, no support when needed, incompetent and lying support staff, just terrible overall.

Long version: Showed up at 3:30 as instructed. Ignored for an hour until we complained, then filled out paperwork and waited two more hours for our vehicle. The employee did not know a lot about the vehicle. No TV (no biggie but was part of the package). Had to ask for linens and table and chairs that we had paid extra for.

Woke up Sunday morning to a dead battery. Emergency number did not answer. Ford emergency line would not help us because the vehicle was not registered! Got it jumped ourselves and kept driving. No option really because the office was closed and there was nobody to advise.

Sunday night noticed that the headlights were flashing uncontrollably and there was nothing we could do about it. Of course the battery died again. Monday support promised to have a plan by 5:30 pm, but never contacted us. Tuesday said a new vehicle would be there at 2:30 but it was not. Kept insisting that it was almost there. I insisted they call the driver. 20 minutes later they said he was due at 4 pm. Meanwhile we are on the side of the road waiting while they are lying to us about the location of the vehicle. New vehicle showed up without linens, table, chairs, toilet paper, stove matches. Old vehicle disappeared at some point without telling us so we couldn't raid it. They told us to buy all the stuff ourselves (the fishing village did NOT have a department store... nearest one was an hour in the wrong direction). Support insisted the old vehicle was gone and couldn't be located. We found it ourselves and raided it.

Upon return, we were told they knew about the fault BCM module but weren't sure when it would go haywire (so they rent them anyway?!?). They said they are sensitive to moisture. The only moisture our vehicle encountered was the wash they gave it before handing it off to us. LMAO!

We got a 25% refund although we expected 100% given all of our stress and anxiety and side-of-the-road waiting, and especially that our visit to Skye was reduced from 5 leisurely days to 3 hectic days, and we didn't get to do and see all the things we hoped to in our once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Oh, and the refrigerator did not run while the vehicle was in motion (and gas turned off) even though it was set to automatic by employees (both vehicles).

The vehicle did drive nicely, hence one star.
