This is both a beautiful and challenging arrangement. Choirs with strong readers should plan on 3 to 4 rehearsals. For the rest of us, give yourself a good bit more time. But it is well worth it. The lyrics are written from the perspective of faithful Israelites looking for the promised Messiah. But believers today can also sing this in anticipation of Christ's second advent. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
