Inconsistent Communication when…
Inconsistent Communication when students need it most. Emails to administrators and guidance councilors went unanswered for weeks despite outreach after outreach. This was our kids in high school reaching out, but nothing, even when the title said, "URGENT!" And yes, when there is a deadline to submit for university entrance and the request sits unanswered for weeks and then the deadline is missed, that's a problem!
Here's the irony. I get a reply to the message above in two hours. "Oops sorry." When my kids needed help...crickets. When your reputation is called out in public. "Quick! Reply! Apologize!" When my kids needed a trusted adult to respond for their future...nothing.

To be a better student
The flexibility of my son being able to take school anywhere. Able to catch up or get ahead with school work. He also could accelerate when he was falling behind in learning new thing and grow in to confidence he need in school.

Dream come true
My son has a bone disease so hat causes him to break a lot of bones and miss school. ALDCA was godsend because of the flexibility my son was able to graduate. Honestly I didn’t know if that was going to be possible in standard school. I thought he would be forced to get a GED, however ALDCA allowed him the get a diploma like the rest of his peers. Thank you, Mrs. Robinson and all the staff, you were amazing!!

Great school
K12 helped my daughter graduate she was wanting to quit school because in 7th the kids was picking at her about her weight and I put in k12 and she graduated this year
