The only thing that we are unhappy with is the fact that your Ag/FFA department is not treated like other schools when it comes to letting them go to the FFA State convention. Our kids work hard and deserve to be able to represent ARVA in public. Every time we show up at contests across the state and people ask what school they attend, it is followed by, " How do we get signed up for that?" Many businesses across the state are looking for FFA kids to hire, the networking for them as high schoolers is very important.

I've been with Arva for almost 6 years by now, and overall it was easy to navigate, use, and a healthy environment but ever sence they switched to Canvas some stuff has been a bit tricky to navigate and use while i did get used to it i feel like changing it to somthing simpler would make situations like this less stressful and easier for students one of my complaints though for this year was the large usage of AI in lessons and meetings in some of my meetings or in class feed there has been numrical bunch of ai images for a welcome feed or for lessons even going to the point where chatgpt has been avised from teachers in langauge art classes this can also be seen in math classes where one of the lessons on it is completly ai with the human images, and picture images i know this may seem like the easier way to do stuff but its very harmful and hurtful to use to the enviroment as a lot of water has been wasted due to generative ai and it also feels like its becoming more of a replacement to teachers which it shouldn't be so for my recommendation for next year it would be the best thing to do by stopping with the ai usage and switching to editing and photoshop sites and using stock images as a replacement and giving the teachers their own way to teach insteaed of avising them to use ai instead.

The experience started off very stressful. The platform was new for beginners like us. We had to learn a lot in a short time. We had great staff that helped us. They were understanding and calm.
I didn't give it a complete 5 because elementary kids have to have a coach sitting there the whole day with them. The teacher videos are great but some of the workbook pages were wrong. We had a lot of information to take in. The math in first grade was at times (I felt) drawn-out. Many unnecessary way to get a simple answer. It is as if, they are teaching first through fourth grade all in the first grade. The smaller children will need a coach working with them all day every day.
It will take about a month to get your own routine. We can now log on and complete our daily assignments with no problems.
Going Virtual has helped us with sicknesses. Before in person school she never finished a complete week of school. She stayed sick. She has not gotten sick this whole year. That is a blessing all by itself.

It seems like the teachers are willing to work with the kids and they are good with keeping the parents updated .

I love the flexibility of my son's schedule, most of his teachers, and that he's at home.
I do NOT like the change in the learning coach platform. Until this year, it was very easy to keep up with my son's schedule, assignments, and grades. It was easy to connect with his teachers.
This year brought a major change in that. Now, it is extremely hard to do any of the above mentioned things.
I seriously considered changing schools for next year because of the changes.
I would love to see the wonderful learning coach platform return.

My daughter actually likes attending school now. Public school is not a very good school system with way too many bullies that affect so many children.

It was not great at all I would not recommend this school to anyone. Teacher are very rude and disrespectful.

The teachers and staff go above and beyond. Kids can focus on their work without distractions from in person attendance and get better grades.
