High point virtual academy isn't that…
High point virtual academy isn't that good there website glitch and a lot of students deal with issues with it also sum teachers use a lot of excuses of why class is canceled and use there home life as a excuse of why something is not graded.

My son has been in high point academy…
It’s nice knowing that my son could be in a safe place doing online school from home the structure is nice and he does learn well from home. There were a few issues this year as I talk about below, but all in all it is still a good online school and a great choice of your child is struggling with in person school with bullies and it just helps give the family a break from those stressors. My son has been in high point academy of Michigan for a few years now this year was harder on us both because of the recent update at the beginning of the year, it’s harder to find classes on the daily schedule and I know how many credits my son should have but I can’t find them in a graduation plan anywhere. Also wish my son could attend his local trade school but he can’t.

Parents and students are always well…
Parents and students are always well informed. I can look at my student's grades, and missing assignments at all times. Teachers really try hard to keep students informed about their grades and encourage them to continue turning in work and to finish strong. I can't count the times I've seen teachers say at the end of the their emails, let's finish strong, it's very encouraging to the students and parents!! They are so appreciated!!

Lack of teachers-parents relationship
The teachers never call and introduce themselves. They never give me notes about my students. We have only one teacher who sends sms if my kid is not in class.

Grateful to have found high point.
They are fast reacting when the site goes down. Their staff is very hands on as well and classes are easy to follow along and understand. The courses are easy to navigate. My child is more relaxed and enjoys learning this way. I am really grateful to have found high point for my child.

They stay involved
They stay involved. Great teachers who want your kids to succeed and push the potential in them. I get calls when my son has bad days they ask if everything is ok. I like how they do their best to keep the parents fully updated and aware.
