Good communication from start kept our valuables in good condition pleased with the move

Faultless service from start to finish - in particular the team on the day were excellent and worked hard without any complaints. They were always courteous and respectful and moved everything quickly with no damage at either end. I highly recommend them.

I'm surprised Trustpilot have not investigated this. K1 are not a reputable company and you are strongly advised to look at other websites before using this one. You could also try contacting the Knightsbridge office at which they purport to be based.
A very odd mixture of 5 star reviews and 1 star reviews. Be careful.

brilliant service! Can't rate them highly enough. karyn is great, the k1 team arrived on time and took great care of all my personal belongings, even wrapping up some things I forgot about in bubble wrap. Super helpful and nice, asked where I wanted everything putting, even screwed the legs back the armchair with screws which were missing when they collected. Went above and beyond will definitly use these guys again

We used k1 Removals for a full pack and moving service and they were just absolutely brill. I was very impressed by their level of service and their professionalism. They took amazing care of all of our antiques and other fragile items whilst packing, dismantled all the furniture, placed the boxes in appropriate rooms and re-assembled the furniture at the new house. They kept checking with us about how we wanted certain items to be packed and where those items would go in the new house. Amazing company and an awesome team!

This isn’t a removal firm; this is a holding company consisting of a couple of blokes and one helpful member of staff. On the day of your move they send over whichever “freelance” staff they can get hold of.

We booked packers the day before our move, including dismantling our flat pack wardrobes. Two guys turned up - one later than the other after being stuck in a taxi on the way to buy the packing materials from Big Yellow Storage. They had no tools with them and were only vaguely aware of the jobs that needed doing. One had to leave by 1pm.

The ‘company’ phoned immediately from a ‘caller withheld’ number demanding payment. I stated that I wouldn’t pay the full amount until I’d seen them begin to dismantle the wardrobes; I couldn’t trust that they would do the job without any tools. The bloke on the phone from ‘head office’, and his ‘deputy manager’ that he also put on the phone, became rude, intimidating and verbally abusive. He called me a scammer and instructed his packers to turn any boxes they’d already packed upside down and leave my stuff in the street. He claimed he would phone all other removal companies to tell them to not enter into business with me.

Up until paying a deposit this ‘company’ was fairly helpful and the emails I received were professional. Afterwards though there were limited ways of getting hold of them, no names of staff members were given and eventual emails were casual messages with poor spelling and grammar. Don’t waste your time or money on K1.

This is the worst, rudest and ugliest company ever! We used it for our moving from London to Milan and it was a real nightmare:

- they gave us a low quote just to attract, then they changed and increased it few times (by 30%) just before the leaving date
- management is unprofessional and very rude, swearing at clients in horrible ways
- they sent 2 young/untrained guys for packing who did half of the job in 5h (since they had no enough material to pack) and then claimed more money
- manager and director are 2 complete thieves, rudest ppl we ever met and full scammers!
- but the worst is that they invented an excuse to cancel the moving to Italy 12h before the date: they put our little family with a small baby in real danger since we couldn't go anywhere (with closed hotels)
- they stole £700 after cancelling on us inventing ridiculous excuses to keep our money

They have been reported to the police and under investigation so avoid this company like the plague!

Used services in November 2014 for move between Chiswick to Central London.
Was appalled by rude, and abusive staff members.
Refused to drop off my items at my front door, (parked 2 miles away from designated address) and insisted on payment of £200.
Complete waste of money and time. Will not use again.
BEWARE of this company!
