What a shambles of a place & dishonest manager
What a shambles of a place. The general manager Bruce Humphry is not a man to be trusted. He owes me USD10,000 for services I gave this hotel pre Covid. I naturally didn't chase for my money during the peak of Covid, but now he has been through a VERY PROFITABLE high season, I have asked for my invoices to be paid, which is reasonable as all my other Thai clients are now paying. NOTE that in the early stages of Covid he told me his business was still good, to keep on working for him and he will pay me.
He has consistently lied to me and made promises to pay, all of which have not materialised.
I now have an offer of payment beginning 2024 - 6 months away! Let me remind you that Thailand is fully open for business and has been for the past 6 months. My other clients can pay, it is time Bruce Humphry starts to do so also.
Onto the resort. I don't think it would be wise for me to comment. The rot starts at the top though. I stayed in Nov 2019 so it may have upgraded since then. The location and rocky beach will not have changed though.
Stay here and line the pockets of a liar and a shambles of a hotel general manager at your peril. Do your research and you will find better alternatives with better quality, a far better location and a more ethical management.
Do the decent thing Bruce Humhpry, general manager, and pay me what you owe.
