This building company has proved to be extremely unreliable: Ferid (or Fred) has left behind, on every occasion he has worked here, a plethora of unfinished jobs; a plethora of abandoned tools and materials; a plethora of rubbish.
Worst of all, he introduced a Romanian labourer Vale or Valentino to my house, who took advantage of my absence during the work-day to ransack my place: the cleaner’s money in the sum of £35 disappeared along with the contents of some unopened parcels to the value of £120+. Ferid told me he had recovered the money, but he never gave it to me.
Finally, he refused to check out a leak in one of the ceilings that could have been dealt with for a few hundred pounds at most, resulting in extensive damage that is now estimated to cost over £26,000 in repairs.
After many years of working for me and receiving large sums of money in cash, I am disappointed to have to conclude and report that he is altogether untrustworthy.
